Bron knows what he's doing with the T-shirt but he's a WWE fan as is K Love. LBJ wore a Undertaker T-shirt at practice and Love was celebrating in a Stone cold Austin 3:16 one and a WWE belt too.

It's definitely shade, but your Warriors talked A LOT of trash. On the court and off. For months. They put the word out they wanted the Cavs. Early on.

The Warriors talked trash and so did Cleveland. So did all the other teams in the NBA. It's a regular thing, it actually brings a bit of excitement to the game.

True. And that goes to my point. It's easy to get mad at if if your team is targeted, and I understand that. But look at it this way . . . it's motivation for the next year.

When Kevin McHale called Magic "Tragic Johnson" after the '84 Finals, he responded by beating him in their next 2 Finals matchups. That was very gratifying to Laker fans like me. GS and its fans now have motivation to have the last laugh in a potential rubber match in 2017.

Sho'nuff.

As for your Lakers, Luke Walton is about to bring the cavalry to y'all. biggrin

Custer had a cavalry too. smile

I don't know. The FO is a mess and when you truly think about it LA hasn't lured a superstar FA in his prime since Shaq. It may take a rebuild and if GS gets Durant the 10's are a writeoff!

I love the city. I have family there. It looks like Ben Simmons will be our guy this week. It's also rumored that they are looking to deal Noel or Okafor. I'm just hoping not to Celtics for pick 3. I'd rather trade with Phoenix at 4. They're said to be in love with pg Kris Dunn from Providence. I'm not that familiar with him.

Majority of my family is split between Philly and the Carolinas

They like Simmons alot, hopefullly he's the right choice, watching him at LSU I wasn't overly impressed to be honest

If it was up to me I wouldn't trade either guy unless the other team makes me a deal that's too good to pass up, but Coach Brown seems to think that Noel and Okafor can't be on the court together because of defensive purposes. I still don't see how not though, Noel's defense first, Okafor is offense first, neither one step's on the others toes. He sat Okafor on the bench WAY to long in the 4th quarter of some of those games because of this thinking, needless to say I'm not that sold on Coach Brown

Kriss Dunn is a good PG prospect, if he has the right work ethic he should be a solid pro IMO.

Cool. The majority of my family is split between the Carolinas and New York but I
have some sprinkled in Jersey and Philly as well. I'm with you on Okafor and Noel. The thing that scares me the most is they are talking about trading Okafor but we haven't seen Joel Embiid play one damn minute in the league. Who knows this guy could be another injury prone big man with bad feet or knees and in Joel's case it's his feet. He could be one of those guys that plays 12 games injury. 5 games injury. We've seen it in the past with Jeff Ruland who was already broken when Philly made the thoughtless trade with the Bullets for Moses. Andrew Bynum who never saw a game as a Sixer. All we got is pictures of his big ass Afro.
lol Didn't he re-injure his knee bowling or something? eek
I sure would hold on to Okafor until I see what I got with Embiid. I like Simmons. Dude is a damn good passer and rebounder. He just have to develop a shot. Remember Magic couldn't shoot when he came onto the league either but once he developed it defenders couldn't cheat off him anymore. I just hope Philly doesn't make any hasty trade but I wouldn't trade with Boston at all. If they really like Dunn he should be available at 4 or 5 unless the Celts elect too take him.

I blame this Finals loss solely on Steve Kerr. He was terrible in game 7. His rotations ruined leads and helped Cavs gain momentum. Ha failed to draw up any plays most of the last 2 series.

He cost them the perfect season IMO.

So basically, Phil Jackson sees no value is a far more healthier point guard like Rajon Rondo? hmmm

Rondo doesn't fit in the triangle. I wouldn't want him here anyway. Give me Mike Conley.

Want to get rid of injured, broken-down, past-their-prime star players? Just call the Knicks, the NBA's official dumping ground.

They may need to dump Melo before any other superstars come to NY. And that's not happening unless Melo agrees to a trade to CLE.

If he's fit Derrick Rose is a great addition for the Knicks, if the trade works in their favour have Chicago traded away their #1 guy for nothing?. I mean they have Butler but Rose was once a MVP you suddenly don't lose your ability because of injury. You might lose a step sure but the quality is still there. If NY get the best out of D Rose they have gotten a quality player for role players.

NBA draft should be fun tonight. Boston have a record 8 picks!. I'd imagine Danny Ainge will be on the phone nonstop making deals. The 76ers might come out the draft with a playoff quality team as might the Lakers, T Wolves and the Celtics. The Suns also have a high draft pick so there might be some major moves made tonight. I wonder if we'll see another blockbuster trade and or free agency signings too.

That one move set us back years, it was the start of the tank. Then he went to Cleveland and stole some more money, still rocking the afro biggrin

The Triangle involves plenty of passing, hence why I think Rondo is a better fit than Derrick Rose.

stop crying. He picked up the Bulls 2nd best player for a bag of peanuts. Rose ave about 18 points per game last year. The Knicks are better today than they were 2 days ago and Phil isn't done.

I'm being realistic, cosidering Rose's history with injuries. How many games is he going to play?

I just pray the Dwight Howard rumors are just that.

Seems like Phil's done a 180 degree turnaround. Instead of preaching slow growth and continuity (a la San Antonio), the Knicks have gone back to their old way of doing business, signing big name players(who aren't what they used to be) to make a splash. We all know how that's worked for this franchise. Been through this song & dance for decades, going back to Spencer Haywood and Marvin Webster.

It was; Oladipo is a great 3rd option coming off the bench if KD and Westbrook stay, offensive support for Westbrook in case KD does leave, and a solid piece to build on if BOTH leave in 12 months.

If their star players can make better decisions at crunch time, OKC is a legit threat to the Warriors. Shit, those chokers should have been in the finals this year.

Noah is a SCRUB. This guy is overrated in every way possible. Good luck with his 4 points a game, 4 turnovers and 10 missed layups.

They did choke up, but don't have the right number of experienced "glue" guys, and IMO, the lack a clear 3d option. Oladipo can give them some offensive punch, but they need playoff-tested vets a la Iguodala, Diaw, etc.

(If I were them I'd give Ray Allen a call too. He's well-rested and his jumper is probably stll on point.)

Well, I have to give Phil credit for getting Courtney Lee. At least he did something right. Rose didn't cost us much, but the Noah makes no sense - 4 years/$72 mil........wtf was Jackson thinking?

Aren't Durant & Westbrook playoff tested? Shit, they were in the finals not too long ago. Their decision-making late in those games vs Golden State was awful.
