I have to give Lebron, Irving and the Cavs credit, they took the title. Congrats.....

GS flat out choked in the 4th. The Cavs deserved to win.
Plain and simple. Interesting that the refs can call a clean game when they want to. Can't blame the refs on this one.

Cleaveland did not deserve to win this championship.

Fuq Cleveland and Fuq LEBITCH

LeBron James was clearly the best player - it wasn't even close. You know it, I know it, the United States of America knows it. Accept it, deal with it, and move on.

Um.....it was close it was tied most of the 4th quarter and Cleveland won because of a free throw and 3 point shot......... You make it sound like it was a blow out, c'mon with this bullshit wacky

yet they did... i know you it much suck... both of the teams i like were eliminated early in the playoffs... and again i can not stand james... but i also so not like GSW... but it is all relative... i enjoyed watching the last half (which is all i watched all year)...but to say they did not really win... weird.

No...I did not say they did not win. I said they did not deserve to win because Golden State is the much more talented team out of the two..... this is purely based on stats and their record breaking year. The NBA is fixed.

you can not say all that and not conclude that the cavs really won. the team that gets the most points always deserves to win. unless they cheat and if they cheat they did not win. and if the game was fixed (and no way they would risk so much to do so) then they did not win. So make up your mind. and keep in mind it is not personal... unless you are on the team. it makes no difference in your life.

here is a funny story: i was at a place that had "won" 3 championships... but had 2 of them stripped for cheating... and i am sitting there and they a going on and on about 3 championships! and i said "huh no they have 1, 2 were stripped..." and they got so mad at me... lol

but as you said GSW was a far Superior team so that must mean that James was so good he was able to overcome that deficient.

didn't the Mavs do that like 10 years ago to the Heat? they were up 2 games and the Heat read that the city was already planning parades? and they came back and won? (was james on that team at that time?)

I'm more happy for LeBron James than I am for the city of Cleveland but as long

as the Browns continue to be losers it's all good. It was a great game. Both teams

fought hard and I have to admit Draymond Green earned my respect tonight

with his performance. I won't even subscribe to the hocus pocus conspiracy

theory. I know Missfee must be sick. hug

Klay Thompson may be the goat of the series as he wrote a check his behind

couldn't cash when he stated the Warriors would win after they went up 3-1.

The NBA Finals

Game 7

Cleveland Cavaliers 93 Golden State Warriors 89

The Cleveland Cavaliers were poised to make history going into this decisive game 7, as they would be the first team to come from a 3-1 deficit to win an NBA title. and they would win the first professional sports title for their city in over 50 years. Also, it would fulfill the lifelong commitment that Lebron James made from the time he came into the NBA out of high school and once again after he returned from wining two titles from the Miami Heat to bring an championship to his hometown Cavs.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors, who won a record 73 games during the regular season, suddenly looked vulnerable. The Cavs managed to contain Stephen Curry in this series and after being embarassed in three of their first four games, they found their groove and their defense. If the Warriors were going to fulfill their destiny as the greatest single season team of all time, then Stephen Curry would have to step up.

This game started out tight and even and would stay that way throughout the entire game, with neither team leading by more than seven points in this game. As expected, Lebron James and Kyrie Irving got the Cavs rolling, but it was Draymond Green who had a monster game for Golden State, who scored a game high 32 points in this game including six 3-pointers while also grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing out nine assists. The Warriors went on a run in the closing minutes of the second quarter to take a seven point lead at the half.

But The Cavs would come out blazing in the third quarter, led by Kyrie Irving, who scored 10 of his 26 points in that quarter and propelled a 28-14 run to put the Cavs up by seven. But Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes would bring the Warriors right back, giving them a one point lead at the end of the third quarter.

But in the crucial fourth quarter, King James would rule supreme on the court. Lebron would score 11 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter, yet more importantly, he made a huge block on a Warriors fast break, blocking Andre Iguodala's layup with the game tied at 89 and 1:50 remaining on the clock. And with 53 seconds remaining Kyrie Irving would seal the improbable victory by hitting a 3-pointer to put the Cavs up for good.

More shockingly, the Splash Brothers were held in check. Stephen Curry was held to 17 points on 6 for 19 shooting from the floor, while Klay Thompson was held to just 14 points on 6 for 17 shooting from the floor. Kyrie Irving scored 26 points, J.R. Smith scored 14 points, and Kevin Love scored nine points while also grabbing 14 rebounds for the Cavs.

The Cavs did what many people thought was unthinkable when these playoffs began, which was not only defeating the mighty Golden State Warriors but winning their first NBA title ever and the city's first professional sports title since 1964. It was Lebron's third NBA title, but most likely will be his most cherished NBA championship in his illustrious career.

Cleveland wins series 4-3. clapping

I knew the warriors wouldnt win it all once they decided to make a run at the regular season record. Playing all of your starters in meaningless games caught up to them. Happy for lebron and cleveland. Im still looking for kevin love. Anyone see him?

They actually nearly went up 3-0 but the Heat miraculously won the game in the

closing seconds.

I'm happy for LeBron, well deserved win for one of the greatest players to ever step on the court.

I'm also happy for basketball and the NBA, now we might actually have a true bi-coastal rivalry with Cavs getting revenge for last season. Hopefully we get the rubber match next season!

I'm hoping the Sixers can be a contender again within 2-3 years.

I'd also like to see Durant get him a ring if he stays with OKC.

Stephen A Smith is gasbag, but he's right about one thing - watching the Cavs finally win a title is frustrating for us in NY. I haven't seen a Knicks championship since 1973. When will our front office get its shit together? Warriors fans waited 40 years for a title - Knicks fans are still waiting.

The series was fixed boo. This outcome is far greater than Lebron. Lebron James aint worth shit. Golden State gift wrapped this championship and gave it to them.

The tradition of ex-Knicks doing better once they leave NY continues.....Shumpert, Mozgov, even knuckle-head J.R. Smith all have rings. I doubt Carmelo gets one unless he joins LeBron.

James chasing down that block....

....good lord. He is the MVP of the league - Curry is the best player but James is the most
valuable. James snatched the league right back from Curry. When you think about how
James was hung in effigy during "The Decision" to his letter about coming back home with
the hopes of winning a ring, what a great, great story:

"I feel my calling here goes above basketball. I have a responsibility to lead, in more ways than one,
and I take that very seriously. My presence can make a difference in Miami, but I think it can mean
more where I’m from. I want kids in Northeast Ohio, like the hundreds of Akron third-graders I sponsor
through my foundation, to realize that there’s no better place to grow up. Maybe some of them will
come home after college and start a family or open a business. That would make me smile. Our comu-
nity, which has struggled so much, needs all the talent it can get."
