I hope they don't do the "Rey & Finn are Twins" thing...The writers & Powers that Be can go anywhere but there...I'm cool with the Lead characters being related just not Twins..

Return of The Jedi:

Obi Wan to Yoda, "That boy is our only hope!"

Yoda replies... "No! There is another..."

That other is not Leia. Despite the comic covers... She never wanted to be a Jedi..She may weild a lightsaber in the rest of these movies..

Rey is a concept of Lucas that Disney and Abrams have probably co-opted.

Rey is the "other". "A "Rey" of Hope.

Yoda and Obi Wan knew that all was not the end after ROTJ...

My guess...Luke would not fall in love like his dad...

Luke (like Plageius) willed Rey into being --foreseeing that he was going to lose all of his Padawan recruits to The Rens..Either un-knowingly, or knowing...Luke used Sith study to create someone to carry on..just like his "Grandad" Plageius..Rey was not there as a girl..People expect that, but she is just seeing "Force Deja Vu.."

Just like Plageuis... He transfered the midi-chlorians from those he lost into Rey..

(Thus Rey having their training by osmosis).

Rey just returned ot her "true birthplace" at the end.

The Emperor's death willed Snoke back to life.

Who left her? Her mother and father..Keeping her away from Luke.. I think that the X-wing pilot's parents are hers (or the mother after she married Poe Dameron's dad.), and Rey's "Parents" who left her there...To keep her away from Luke, but he knew.

The writers seem to be repeating things from the 1st 2 trilogies, but twisting themm

I believe that Rey was never trained by Luke, and was kept away from him. As Luke and Leia were kept away from their "Father". And Palpatine supposedly' killed Plageius/Snoke---and hid Anakin from The Jedi too.

I believe that Luke, like Plageius/Snoke became weak in the force for years after "Concieving" a child of The Force... Kylo and The Rens knew this..Luke knew too.., but Rey had to be created. His Jedi were not as strong..

So you're saying that Finn is just a watered down Black version of Han Solo (Minus the Giant Fur Ball)?

It seems to me that Poe Dameron is the new version of Han Solo, what with his piloting skills. Finn is the new Leia, in a sense that women were rarely given a chance to act the hero in 70's Hollywood, like black people are rarely given a chance to be the hero in modern Hollywood.

If Poe had a love interest I'd go along with your scenario...Poe's only Mate is that Giant Basketball....Finn & Rey are either the new Twins or the New Han & Leia....

Well "Lando" is back in this film...

He can't be Finn's dad? lol lol lol Would the production team do that?

Reportedly, there whas been some script re-writes recently... The new director is scrapping something... Maybe trying to make them seem less like the original trilogy..

The Falcon was Lando's initially..

Yes. Finn is the new Han, and so is Poe... They've made amalgamations of several characters from the original trilogy. Kylo Ren seems like the most original to me.

I think it would have been better if Kylo was sneaking, and betrayed Luke and everyone by the end of the film----and then became Kylo Ren, and killed Luke's academy. Then, Rey appears by the end of the film..

I would also have like it if Han wasn't such a big fan of "The Force"... It ruined his family!!! He, Leia, Ben, and Luke were all family... The Force has saved The Galaxy, but it was led others to conquer the galaxy...

Snoke is too much like Palpatine... Kylo should have created his own Dark Order without a mentor in "the rule of 2". He should have found is granddad's journals and his holograms, and made the decision to kill Luke.

I've tweaked my theory some. I still think it's possible that Rey is a clone of Luke, made from his severed hand, but I think Snoke might have been behind it. I think Luke caught wind of it, and led a rescue mission where he saved the child and took her to raise as his own. When Kylo Ren turned to the Dark Side, and killed all the Jedi trainees, he couldn't quite bring himself to kill her, but didn't want Snoke to know of his weakness. He was the one who dropped her on Jakku, hiding her from Snoke and Luke alike

Billy D. Williams said a while back that he was never approached to return to Star Wars...I agree with you about the sudden rewrites...I would LOVE to see the script they trashed becuz where were they gonna go with Rey & Finn? An article I read said the New Writer/Director planned to focus on new Characters (as it was written in the old script) and I guess Finn was gonna get less screen time...Now the've pushed everything back to a Dec 2017 release to figure out the new script...It sorta sounds a mess but TV Shows & Movies get re-writes every day they film, so it's very normal..I would not be surprised if Finn turns out to be Chewbacca's half human Son...So Gross..
