I'm on a Prince message board, it's safe to assume I listen to his music. As noted in this thread there's conflicting information if we go by the lyrics

There's nothing in my posts (or "in my world") that would indicate that I see weed as special

Then to assume I'm going to go into some rhetoric about reform for marijuana laws . . it's like you just took a bunch of assumptions and jumped out the window with them

It wouldn't be that surprising? I can't imagine he's ever been a heavy user of anything. He doesn't look anywhere close to his age.

I think he wrote that song for Jill Jones or some other woman that was a smoker, and then decided to do it himself.

The only actual Prince reference I've ever seen to Prince smoking is the pantomime he did of taking a puff on a cancer stick and then crushing it out during the "Parade" tour.
