Phil Jackson says LeBron James travels 'every other time he catches the basketball'

Phil Jackson may have not masterminded the Knicks' return to prominence yet, but he's spitting fire towards what he considers a league that is becoming increasingly less disciplined. A profile of the NBA coac...her Report includes some not-so-flattering things about LeBron James.

"I watch LeBron James, for example," he said. "He might [travel] every other time he catches the basketball if he's off the ball. He catches the ball, moves both his feet. You see it happen all the time. There's no structure, there's no discipline, there's no 'How do we play this game' type of attitude. And it goes all the way through the game. To the point where now guys don't screen—they push guys off with their hands."

Travel? LeBron? Well I never...

Hey Phil, STFU, stop worrying about LeBron and concentrate on fixing the fucking Knicks. Your ass is on the clock Thursday night.

That was the sentiment of most Knicks fans on Yahoo. lol
We know Jordan never traveled right? We know Shaq never ran over defenders
in the post like a fullback right?

Speaking of the draft I hope Philly doesn't pull some Harold Katz
shit and shit the draft away. Sixers fans have suffered long enough.
It's time for some progression. If they don't use the 3rd pick on one of these top guards(Russell)I
will just give up on this franchise.

Yes they have. Even Laker fans like me know that basketball is better when the traditional Atlantic Division powers -- PHI, NY, BOS -- are contenders.

Philly will have a big say in what the Knicks do. Because of Embid's injury setback, rumor has them taking the Latvian kid Porzingis. That would leave Russell or Winslow to the Knicks - I'd love that.

Knicks need Cauley-Stein...he'll be even better in the NBA and he was a stud in college...id take him over Okafor straight up...Okafor could be a glorified Jared Dullinger...similar body type and a horrible defender...Kaminsky killed him in the tournament...Knicks need a big man that can defend and play above the rim...Cauley Stein offensive game better than people think...he hardly had any touches at Kentucky with the Harrison twins and Booker and Towns...Winslow too small to play forward in the NBA...cant speak on Mudiay and Porzingis cause other than highlights i havent really seen them play against anyone real

I don't know what to believe on Embiid's situation. I read one article where
he stated on Twitter don't believe everything you read and then I read another
where an insider within the organization said expects Embiid to be ready to go
game one.

Kevin Love opted out of his contract (what a shock, lol), and Georga Karl wants to trade Cousins. Talk about a hot mess in Sacramento.

he's already a much better ball handler, and more versatile around the rim offensively....Chandler can only score on putbacks and alleyoops...CaulyStein is faster end to end and obviously younger than Chandler who himself, helped the Knicks get a 54 win season....Phil never hould have traded him in the first place for Calderon (scrub)..they did that to dump salary and dump Felton, but they clearly missed his presence on the defensive end...CauleyStein will give them that, plus his offensive game is hidden and still growing...if not him, take Mudiay...his back-story and his cosigns (Larry Brown, Jay Bilas, etc) are intriguing...and the Knicks need an upper echelon point guard ...

Knicks drafted Frederic Weis Jr. Isiah Thomas would have made a smarter pick.

Jerian Grant is a good player. I feel yall on the Porzingis pick. I was so afraid Philly was

gonna draft him. He may turn out to be good but he definitely needs to get bigger. Philly couldn't afford to draft a guy that's not a sure thing. I'm still having Shawn Bradley nightmares. I'm

ecstatic Okafor fell to Philly. He wasn't a bad consolation prize after the Lakers took

DAngelo Russell.

the 13 minute Kristaps Porzingis Highlights on youtube make him look like Pau Gasol mixed with KevinDurant type range and shooting ability...but thats him playing against little eastern europeans...im worried that once he plays against grown ass NBA men, he might be Shawn Bradley Jr....Grant was a real nice pickup though...dude was 1rst team allamerican, and was a stud in the tournament

This guy has some skills.

I understand why Phil drafted this guy.

There will be a lot of people eating their words on this pick.

I hope so, because if Justice Winslow becomes a player, and Porzingas does not, the Knicks will rue the day.

I don't get the criticism Philly is receiving for taking Okafor.
Who were they supposed to take? Porzingis or Mudiay at 3
I don't think so. So what if they have 3 bigs. Noel or Embiid could
be good trade bait down the road.

He has time to refine that part of his game. Brett Brown will teach him to be better

on that end.

But you don't draft a project at #4. Let's see Frederic Weis Jr do his thing against grown ass men.

With the NBA Draft, it seems like ANY pick outside of the top 3 is a crapshoot. So teams at 4 have really difficult choices to make, and will get killed on the back end if the final choice causes them to miss out on player picked afterwards who happens to hit.

Most scouts are saying the Knicks made the right choice at 4. But the right choice might still be a bust.
