Reinsdorf the owner, owners don't leave unless the sale or die. wink I agree with you, Reinsdorf should also look at the men in the front office too. I think Thibs still would have been coach of The Bulls (irrespective of his lack of ability to coach post-season) if he hadn't pissed Reinsdorf off. Is this a classic case of Reinsdorf putting loyalty to him above winning, probably? But Jerry's curt response after Thibs was let go was uprecedented... beside coaching Thibs needs to also grasp office politics.

Robin Ventura can't manage his ass out of his own jockstrap. Yet, Reinsdorf and Williams fired a man basically because he had a big mouth, Ozzie Guillin'. Ventura is liked hence he recieved an extended contract. Paxson is liked hence, I don't see him going anywhere soon. shrug

Being a Chicago Sports fan is tough. I wish I could just get it out of system and be done with it.

mad

Its brutal, I'm thinking about starting a support group. lol

This sound so wrong and morbid, I look at BlackHawks. That organization could have been winners years ago but Bill Wirtz was a jackass. After his sons took over - the late Peter Wirtz and now Rocky - the Blackhawks a championship contenders every year.

Y'all good. The Bulls won what 6 titles in a span of 9 years. That's enough to
last until y'all leave this earth. lol Some sports franchises don't get one title. As for the Bears we will see what Foxy has up his sleeve this season.

LOL @ these whining Bulls fans. The Knicks haven't won shit since 1973, have the worst owner in professional sports, and are considered a laughingstock. Under Brain-Dead Dolan, NY has ONE playoff series win in 14 years.

Cry me a mfing river, Bulls fans.

What have they done for us lately. lol With Jay Cultler as QB... Harry Houdini magic could save the up coming season.

The bright side my Cubs ( yes, I bleed blue) are comig along nicely. Its nice to go to the ballpark again, kinda skipped the last couple of seasons and hung out with the Tigers. lol

Defense and timely hitting....

What the Cubs weren't able to do a couple of years after their 2003 division win was, play good defense and get timely hits / scoring. The hitters didnt Cubs pitchers something to work with instead , all the pressure were on pitchers to win games. So far , I like what I see: Good defense, Cub offense has scored early, and they shown they have the ability to come from behind too. Thank goodness the Ricketts brought in the people needed to build up the Cubs farm system. Fingers crossed a pennant is on the horizon.

Scott Skiles to coach the Magic.

I'm hearing Fred Hoiberg will be the Bulls new coach. IMO, management will rue the day they got rid of Thibs. I'll take him in NY in a heartbeat.

Ya'll can have him lol. We had a good run, but it's time for a change. I don't know if another Iowa State head coach is the answer for us though lol.

The Chicago Bulls officially introduced Fred Hoiberg as their new head coach today. Hoiberg most recently coached at Iowa State and took his team to the NCAA Tournament, and his team was known for its uptempo offense, something which this Bulls teams has struggled with uner former coach Tom Thibodeau. Hoiberg has some history with the Bulls, having played two seasons with the team in the early 2000's before a heart issue caused him to cut his NBA playing career short.

Hoiberg faces a different challenge than most first-year head coaches, given that the Bulls are built to win a championship right away and may have missed their best chance in this season's playoffs after losing to James and a depleted Cleveland Cavaliers squad.

The Bulls need new owndership.

They are simply going around in circles.

I wish there was a way 2 FIRE the owner.

This franchise is going nowhere under the direction of Paxson & Forman.

IMO, there's a scary trend among NBA owners nowadays - they want coaches who'll "go along to get along" instead of strong-willed coaches who are their own man like Thibs. Derek Fisher is a perfect example - he's running the (outdated) offense Phil Jackson WANTS him to run.

Fred Hoiberg and Scott Skiles.......LOL.....what a joke.

Cavs in trouble...they have to work WAY too hard to get buckets...other than Lebron backing down Iguodala or Harrison into the paint, and shooting jumphooks... or taking Green or Thompson off the dribble from the top of the key, the Cavs have no other offense they can rely on...JR gets hot 1 every 5 games...Shumpert shoots wide open bricks and misses hella layups...Mosgov can only score when he picknrolls with lebron...clearly, Golden State has these fuckers figured out, if i do...JRSmith & Shumperts low IQ ball got the Cavs lookin like Melo and the Knicks at the offensive end...they missing a healthy Kyrie Irving badly...series might b over by now if he never gets hurt...Dellavadova been exposed..after the first few games they started running that chump through multiple picks...you can tell hes wearing down now after all that tough guy ball he was playing in games 1 - 3....Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green been hammering him on double and triple screens...Dellavadova starting to go around them picks now...Curry starting to get more space for his J... Lebron gonna have to be superhuman to pull this one off.
