If last night's performance doesn't shut up the Lebron haters, I don't know what will. No Love, no Irving, banged-up and he did whatever it took to get that win.

But that flagrant 2 on Horford was bogus. He had every right to be upset when a dude comes at his knees. This is the third incident with Dellavadova.

The refs stole this game from the hawks. Teague was fouled on every single 4th quarter drive 2 the hole. He didn't get a single call.

The Lebron haters have no ammunition or excuses left except he's

not Michael Jordan which i think it doesn't take a fucking Rhodes

Scholar to acknowledge.

Most impressive is how LeBron has played and coached the Cavs minus

Love and Irving in the closeout game against the Bulls. I still can't believe

the Cavs drug them like that against a relatively healthy Bulls squad. No

one can say LeBron played with a stacked deck this season.

The Rockets are still alive! That first quarter was a thing of beauty. Gotta take it one day at a time but a great way to look at this is: The Rockets are down 3-1. They were down 3-1 in the last series but won it. So who knows? The odds are greatly against it but like Jeff Van Gundy said last night - sooner or later, someone is going to come from 3-0 down and win it.

Side note: We had another Great Flood last night. My son and mother-in-law were at the game, and weren't able to leave the Toyota Center until 5 AM this morning. Worst flood we've seen in years. They actually issued a Flash Flood Emergency. I'd never heard of that and it turns out that's the first time Houston has ever been under a Flash Flood Emergency. Dwight Howard and his family were stuck there, too.

Speaking of Howard, I hope his Flagrant 1 isn't upgraded to a Flagrant 2. If it is, he'd be out of Game 5. And honestly, his shot on Bogut was worse IMO than Horford's elbow on whatshisname. It's not out of the realm of possibility that the NBA review's Howard's punch and suspends him. I hope they don't, but I couldn't really argue it if they do.

The fall that Steph Curry took was horrible. We watched the replay over and over, and I don't know how he didn't break/dislocate every bone in his right arm. Especially his shoulder. Man, I am glad he's OK.

My son and mother-in-law were finally able to get to the Hilton, and we picked them up at 6:45 this morning. The Hilton lobby was packed with Rockets fans, sleeping in chairs and couches, and on even on the floor. What a scene!

The game last night was awesome. It was great to see Houston come out with so much fight left in them. Not sure it will do much good in the end, but at least they didn't go down 4-0. I'm hoping for Cleveland to win it all now!

The refs will give the Cavs 1 win............and that's all she wrote.

I'm leaning Cavs. GS is the more complete team but don't have LeBron James. Each routed the other on their home floor this season. I'd say it goes 6 either way.

Come on now. Every superstar gets a lot of calls and Jordan was no exception. But Jordan was so clearly on another level from everyone else that he didn't need the calls. Sure, the Bad Boys could have been indicted for what they did to Jordan back then, but the refs swallowed their whistles in those early series. That aside, we all know he got'em.

I'm really really late to the party, but it couldn't be helped.

What special Kool - Aid are you two drinking? Noah isn't an all-star, give me a "f" break. I don't anyone who has ever luaded Noah as the seconded coming on Mutoumbo or anyone else for that matter Both of ya'll are trying to stir-up some sillness that nobody has ever considered. Noah, is a solid basketballl center. He's the guy that's kept the Bulls out of the basebment when D. Rose was hurt and in spite of Luol Deng being traded.

How to I define an All-Star? In part... any player who contribution & talent help a team that would otherwise underachieve rise above limited talent of the team. Noah as been a leader on and off the court.... more so than D Rose has ever been. Don't get me started on Rose's mentally fragile butt.

The NBA playoffs... it's the seaon to talk a lil' trash... my lil phunkdaddy are you ready? lol

You must have been drinking too many Samuel Adams. lol I think you missed the boat on our discussion of Noah's talent. No one stated that he is considered an all star by the masses. We are saying although he was selected to the All Star game last year he is not an All Star. If Chicago was playing in the much more talented Western Conference he would have not even been on the roster. Yes his effort and hustle has helped the Bulls with injuries to Rose but it's the coaching of Thibs that has made this team resilient. If you think Noah could have led this team as far as they have gotten in this year's postseason without Rose then I have some Sony Walkman's to sell you that are still valuable. The Bulls would have gotten their asses handed to them in the first round without Rose. I don't know what your dislike for Rose is but it damn sure can't be because he is a scrub. This dude was the league MVP for one season before his injury troubles and this dude would probably still be arguably the best player in the game if not for health issues. Ask Lakers fans or Rockets fans if Rose is mentally fragile compared to the likes of Dwight Howard. PS your All Star Noah might want to quit talking shit to King James before Lebron embarrass his limited skills ass into an early retirement. [Edited 5/24/15 18:02pm]

Actually I haven't had a Samuel Adams until yesterdee. Even so...

Look, don't turn this around on me....you were the one that made the crazy comparison to Mutoumbo. Granted Noah isn't many things but he has been a lil' bit more than a seviceable center for the Bulls. Sweetie, you gotta dance with people you have. What Noah could do or not do in Western Conference is really neither here or there... its what he's done for the Bulls that's important.

In terms of Rose... uh what happened in the last game against Cleveland? Who was on the floor for Cleveland? Rose and his mates play was passive to say the least. Know doubt, the Bulls looked old, slow, and Coach Thibs defensive strategy has become a tad perdictable. I could care less about the Rockets, or punk-ass Howard... not my team. Rose, the guy who thinks he's playing in NFL instead of the NBA.... " don't want to attend my kids graduation sore". The guy who had openly and repeatdedly said, "it wasn't his job to recruit players for the Bullls." Though "scrub" has because he (Noah) kinda understands it takes a fucking team to win, he works for someone, and they need more pieces to the puzzle to even sniff at a championship. Rose, the guy who I thinks hears Bulter's footstep... appears to have hung back instead of rising to the fucking occasion in game 6, is that leadership? It also appears locker room riffs found there way onto the hardwood... is that leadership? Look, I had no illusions the Bulls would beat Clevland but I didn't expect them to roll over either. Yes, cedit Cleveland and King James... the guy is playing out of his mind.

As far as Noah talkin' shit....I forgot about your man crush on Lebron. It knows no bounds does it? On behalf of Noah, he's soooo sorry he talked shit to your guy. If I were capable, I'd fly down with a case of S.A. and give you a hug

lol biggrin

Eastern Conference Finals

Game 4

Atlanta Hawks 88 Cleveland Cavaliers 118

The Cleveland Cavaliers were physically and emotionally spent after game 3, and a number of players were nursing nagging injuries. Nevertheless, they knew they had an opportunity to close out this series tonight, and not only was a trip to the NBA Finals on the line, but eight days off to rest and recouperate. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks were just looking to stay alive, and after seeing what James Harden and the Houston Rockets did last night, they just wanted to steal a victory to stay alive.

But it was not to be for the Hawks. The Cavs grabbed the lead early and never let up, leading from wire to wire and winning this in an eventual rout. Kyrie Irving returned to the lineup after missing the last two games with tendonitis in his knee, and he was one of six Cavs players who finished in double digits in scoring. Irving scored 16 points, while Lebron James led all scorers with 23 points while also grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out seven assists. J.R. Smith scored 18 points, Tristan Thompson scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Timofey Mosgov added 14 points and seven rebounds, and Matthew Dellavedova added 10 points.

As for Atlanta, Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 17 points while Paul Milsap added 16 points, but Al Horford had a miserable game, only making one field goal. The Hawks became only the sixth number one seed to be swept out of the NBA playoffs or Finals. The Cavs now move on to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007, and more importantly have eight days off to rest and get healthy for the championship run.

Cleveland wins series 4-0.

To me, he's a combo of Magic & Oscar. There are times when he can take over a game and impose his will like Jordan, but Lebron prefers to be the facillitator.

Getting this Cavs team, with its youth, inexperience and injuries to the Finals, is Lebron's best accomplishment IMO.

Well it is a big if about Butler, under the circumstances I was surprised Bulter wants to remain a Bull. Rose won't be the long term deal or the guy that th eBulls once thought they could build around.... the guy body can't stay health. Needless to say that isn't Rose's fault but sports are about producing and consistently producing... you can't build around a guy thats ifffy ever season. . . . and early in his career, he was a frontrunner. Even taking all of that is true, MJ, like (insert superstar player of the last 2 generations here) logged a lot of miles "traveling" over his career. He did get away with a more physical contact defensively. His iconic "Last Shot" was an offensive foul!

But . . . the difference is not the REFS' treatment of LBJ, because superstars get calls, but the stricter defensive rules he's played under most of his career. Put MJ in his prime in this era, with rules that have made Bad Boy-Knicks defenses extinct, and he would have had a field day.

Lebron gets away with travel calls.

Offensive foul calls.

Goal tending calls

Defensive fouls

Carrying the ball......evry single game.

And crys like a baby 2 the refs.

Did I mention how often he FLOPS?

. . . and early in his career, he was a frontrunner. Even taking all of that is true, MJ, like (insert superstar player of the last 2 generations here) logged a lot of miles "traveling" over his career. He did get away with a more physical contact defensively. His iconic "Last Shot" was an offensive foul!

That is one play and be honest, had u ever seen a pushoff like that before? I had not and neither had the refs. That said, Lebron get's 4 to 6 Offensive fouls a night that the refs don't call. That left treetrunk that he calls an arm cannot stick out 2 keep defensive players at bay. Mj averaged a career 30.1 points a game. If he played today, that would be at least 38.

lol lol lol thank you, I have my moments.

It would be in the best interest of the Bulls to sign Bulter.

I forgot about your dislike of all things Cleveland, (sport wise) what is up with that? "Tell ma' ma'. tell ma ma everything." lol I'm rooting for the Cleveland, I'm an Eastern Conference woman, unless it is coming out of Boston, then I switch. lol

Butler (if he were paying attention) should do everything he can 2 get out of Chicago. Paxson and Forman are toxic and the coach is clueless on how 2 coach playoff basketball or an NBA offense.

For Butlers self-interest, yep. From a fan point of view, I'd like Butler to stay. Couch Thibodeau is clueless about many things.... clock managment and how to pace his players through a 82 regular game season. Besides, Thib's can be a drama queen too. I think he's gone as far as he can go with the Bulls.... he should been fired after the play offs.

Apparently Paxson & Forman are so petty that they want all of the coaching jobs 2 be filled before they fire Thibs so he will be left without one of those jobs.

MJ had a lot of tricks he used to get free, including pushoffs, it was just very clear with "The Last Shot."

LBJ does get away with stuff, but it's more obvious because of his size. given his size and athleticism, he's one of the hardest players to officiate. So he does get away with a lot.

MJ would have the all-time scoring title had he played today.

Thibs just runs his players into the ground. Riles was infamous for doing the same thing. As long as Thibs stays the situation will be toxic, and there's no guarantee Paxson and Forman can make it work. Sad, they had all the makings of a perennial contender.

I hear ya...........but it isn't that hard 2 see a player take one dribble past half court and magically gets all the way 2 the hole without another dribble.

Keep in mind, MJ missed 5 or 6 years during his career.

He missed the 85 season with a broken foot. (played 18 games)

1.8 years after retirement 1 (played 17 games)

3 years after retitrement 2.
