Why is everyone talking about the losers instead of the winners of this finals? I think if it were the other way around, not one word about the Spurs would be spoken. Oh well, it's all smoke and mirrors when it comes to the media.

lol lol lol That's the way it is.

Your point is taken... the Spurs for some reason (besides Texas) has never been embraced or given their props. I suppose for many of use, our teams (my Bulls) didn't make the play-offs or lost in the early rounds... "we" had no dog in the race. So, we look forward to the moves made by all NBA teams to make themselves better for the next your run to the Championship.

If you talk to folk who aren't Spurs fans, they hate the Spurs because they
aren't flashy. They are the N.E Patriots of the NFL. I like the Spurs mainly
because of Tim Duncan although I was rooting for the Heat. I was a fan since he played at Wake Forest. The Spurs
were pretty pedestrian over the years with Parker being the lone guy with athleticism which cost them at times with the more athletic Lakers. Now they have added Leonard and Danny Greene but those guys aren't
gonna Kent Stephensen(free lance)in Poppovich system. lol
As for the Heat, Pat Riley knows basketball and he knows they have to replenish the roster to compliment the King James. They had no interior game or muscle to
match the Spurs in the middle. Bosh kind of reminded me of Dikembe Mutuombo for
the Sixers in the finals years ago forgetting he is a seven footer. I hope Philly
does well in the draft and I'm looking forward to seeing what Nerlens Noel can
do with a playmaker like Michael Carter-Williams. I remember seeing Philly play your Bulls early last season and I was surprised to see Carter-Williams abuse
Rose. We need help everywhere but the point.

Didn't people learn a long time ago that you can't build a team around one player? Oh and I wish people would stop calling him "King".....unless you're talking about being at the top of the charts for whining all the time!

You're right about the fact that the Spurs sometimes don't get respect because they aren't flashy but they dominate. It's almost like they throw flash by the wayside and just play ball and it blows people away that there is a team that actually plays like a team and wins smile

For real, I've never cheered or cared for anyone west of the Mississippi. Well, except during the Lakers/Celtics NBA Championships. lol But I don't have anything against the Spurs and I've heard the point of view of them being dull as paint drying. lol

As UP' mentioned...

I do think the Heat need a point guard and dammit kickBosh to the damn curb and find a junk man from somewhere please!!! Bosh was God awful, I don't think he's a 7 footer, he's wearing stilts. lol

You know, sometimes a player can be so "great" that they are no good. I think that's the case with Queen James....

On another note, I was disappointed to hear Kevin Durant said some less than flattering comments about Kawhi Leonard on Twitter. I reckon jealousy played a factor in this!

Bosh doesn't have a 'big man mentality', never did. Dude would rather shoot threes than post up smaller players down low. And he's horrible at protecting the rim, which killed Miami. Heat need a true 5, so they can move Bosh to the 4 spot.

And they need better role players.

Folks in NY are getting nervous over Carmelo.

Leonard (and the rest of the team) operate like those stealth fighters. You don't see or hear much from them but when they strike, it's for real! Thanks for posting the sketch of the team on that t-shirt. Very cool smile cool

Wilt, West, Goodrich....Oscar, Kareem......Magic, Kareem, Worthy.....Dr.J, Moses....Bird, Parrish, McHale.....Jordan, Pippen, Grant(later Rodman)......Shaq, Kobe.....KG, Pierce, Allen.....with a few exceptions('04 Pistons), you need at least two stars to have a chance in the NBA. It is a star-driven league. That's what hurt my Knicks during the Ewing era - management could never get Patrick a star on Pippen's level, which Ernie Grunfeld said was his biggest regret.

The key is surrounding your stars with the right mix of high basketball I.Q. role players. All the championship teams have that. Look at Boris fucking Diaw. I've never seen him play like this before, but he's a perfect fit in Popp's system. Too bad they'll lose Patty Mills to free agency, but the kid deserves a big payday.

The Charlotte Hornets are back! New logo & unis look pretty sweet.

It will be interesting to see what MJ can do with the team as the owner over the next few years. They did good to get into the playoffs but kinda sad they got swept but the foundation is laid and who knows what the future holds. The new uniforms and logo look great. Those are some loyals fans in Charlotte so I'm sure the stadium will be buzzing! smile
