1) Kris H wasn't Kim's ideal choice but he loved her more than she loved him so it seemed like a good deal.

2) This was all a hoax from jump street and meant to put more money in Kim's pocket with endorsements, media coverage, promo for her upcoming show with sister Kourtney etc.

3) The divorce in itself is a hoax and we are being played. Kim will probably call off the divorce and reconcile with ole Frankenhoop and this will playout on a reality show featuring her and her doofus hubby.

4) It is possible that Kris's feelings for Kim were genuine and he was a mere pawn in the game of fame played by those Kardashian skanks.

5) She's divorcing Kris because Reggie Bush wants her back.

6) She's divorcing Kris because he's broke and his financial status was not fully revealed to her prior to the nuptials.

And now....the #1 reason Kim is divorcing Kris Humphries (drumroll please)

There's no harm in your comments/opinions but one thing remains at the forefront of any Kardashian discussion and/or bashing. THEY CHOSE TO BE IN THE LIMELIGHT and put there personal business (albeit fake) out for the public to disect, love, criticise etc.

Currently, there have been FOUR Kardashian reality shows so you have to wonder if anything we see is genuine and if they even give a damn about being judged. They have fought very hard for the level of fame they now have so I could give a fuck if they feel bad about any negative public perception. Its the risk they were all too eager to take.

You are right. I guess it's also a little bit of a cultural thing. In Holland there are also gossip programs and Big Brother has been invented overhere. However, there still is sort of a decency, not to invade into others' privacy.

True diva-I'm a star- so everybody aside-behavior will never be accepted in Holland. You just get laughed at. A star in Holland will still be considered human. Other way around too. E.g. the royal family has a deal with the tabloids. They will pose for pictures at their holiday and official events. And beyond that, they are allowed privacy. Especially the children.

So, why does she want to divorce him?

I'm reading that as part of the pre-nup, all of their assets were kept separate and that she is asking the courts to bar Kris from getting spousal support. She also didn't like that, even though he wanted to live life outside the limelight, he had hired a publicist to boost his image.

kris humphries' family lives right here in the twin cities metro area.. his pastor in chanhassen is allegedly the one who tied their knot, so to speak. i'd say kris is more naive than stupid, maybe too trusting.

i really don't know him but i think that from the posh wedding to the crowd of cameras, he had to have developed a clue somewhere down the line that he was simply playing a part..... i feel kinda sorry for him and his family

Man, this kid should count his blessings that he got out of this as early on as possible . You do have to feel bad for him a bit because frankly, he's looked nothing but pained in the face every step of the way that the wedding was filmed. Uuugh, and the way that Kim set him up in Bora Bora by wagging her tail to get him to intervene between her & Rob's bickering (Rob kept calling his sister a straight up HO on camera), and when he did-only to have the entire family turn on him while the men sat meek-mouth on the patio with their castrated testicles in the ladies' collective choke hold. You could tell he was in waaaaay over his head then.

She's one of those people who clearly only thinks about her own momentary satifaction without thinking through how others are affected.

In al sincerity, though- I hope he finds a nice girl with a good education who's a little more down to earth. That and I hope he wasn't forced to sign a confidentiality agreement

but..okay...so what had happened was...according to the stories that have been planted by the Kardashians in the media supplied by "inside sources" they were incompatible, they disagreed about where they would settle as a couple, and he pissed her off by getting a publicist....or something to that effect...oh, and in her first statement to the public she announced that "some things don't work out as planned".
