I like to smell good but never want to over do it.. and I like it when I smell a bit of cologne on a guy but not like he poured the whole bottle on himself. Just wondering what type of scent do you guys like? Or do you not care?

I do like a woman who smells good. But, honestly, most women's fragrances are too wildly fruity or floral. I'm perfectly fine with a woman who smells of a nice talc, cocoa or shea butter, or black soap.

As designer fragrances go, I prefer scents that are tempered with woodsy, gourmand, citrus, spicy or "oriental" notes. Some balances I like are...

* Nina Ricci L'aire du temps

* Clinique Happy

* Marc Jacobs Daisy

And for the past few years, these two have put all other women's fragrances to shame...

I got this perfume called Rock Princess, by Vera Wang, I bought it scent unsmelled based on its description: "Perfumer of this edition is Calice Becker of Givaudan and the fragrance features white peach, red raspberry, bergamot, heliotrope, vintage-inspired rose, night blossoming jasmine, lily, cashmere, musk, iris and creamy coconut."

I find it very subtle and I LOVE the bergamot thing

I read a review of it: "smells like cheap wine pluse cough syrup."

One night back when I used to go out clubbing, a friend walked up and said hi to me and I immediately smelled the most beautiful scent on her and asked her what it was. I believe she said it was angel food cake. I wanted to eat her.

Desperation

Actually, even more than any kind of perfume or body lotion, I prefer a simple clean and soapy smell on a woman. That goes for myself as well. Often times I'll forsake cologne for aftershave. I usually get more compliments on the latter anyway.

For me it changes depending on the woman, because I don't think all scents work the same on everyone. I found this out by purchasing a favorite perfume of a prior gf for a current gf. It didn't smell the same at all, but she loved it and kept wearing it.

In general I'm not real fond of flowery smells. I like herbs, spices, fruits, musk - stinks along those lines. I love vanilla.

I don't know about you, but one spray lasts me all day, love it!

I dont really care about how the scent smells, aslong as the scent smells GOOD, im cool..haha

As long as you smell good, I'm cool. I hate when women smell like weed, cigarettes, alcohol [of any kind]. Hopefully a women has good hygiene as well. If you stink, don't expect to get any action from a sober person whatsoever.

Girls that have that Middle eastern scent...It's a very distinctive and cultural scent they have...it's hypnotizing and it's such a big turn on.
