Maybe it's tradition? My dad and neither of my grandfathers (when they were alive) wore their wedding bands. They are all farmers and it's dangerous to wear rings that could get caught in any number of farm machines causing loss of finger, hand, arm, or even life. Admittedly, William is not a farmer, but isn't he a helicopter pilot? Maybe that's why. Although I don't know why they didn't do it at the church and then he could take it off afterwards.

I didn't watch any of the wedding, don't care so much about it except I like the fact that both of them studied art history, just like I did.

Kate looked beautiful, nothing over the top nor was her look too simple that it's bland, it was just the right amount of elegant.

Really nice event. Tasteful pageantry, but not over the top. Gorgeous music and Westminster looked stunning.
