NATURAL looking SWIMMING POOLS? Ultimately, I would want my swimming pool to look a bit like this:
But with shaded palms or overhanging trees nearby. I've always been a fan of natural looking swimming pools, especially ones in which the swimming pool floor is painted to look like dark stone or ones which cause the water's appearance to be a darker greenish-blue rather than the general chlorinated aqua-blue color in artificial looking pools. Now don't get me wrong, in April in Tampa bay, the gulf turns that 'swimming pool' color and the water is clear and stunning. It's quite beautiful. But I just have a real love for natural looking swimming pools. Don't get me wrong, the swimming pool like the one below: 
..erects a deep penetrating sense of heaving emotions in me from time to time. But ultimately, it just seems so...what's the word I'm looking for...artificial. I much prefer these types of pools:

They look much better than the "other" ones. Swimming pools don't impress me, but I will say these look nice. |

those natural looking swimming pools would be grest until your drunk friends start doing jack-knife dives off the side and get impaled by an artificial rock...
when it comes to pools, I'll stick with concrete, steps, slides and diving boards...if I want natural, I'll go to the source.... that ass is amazing...I'd like to impale it with my artificial rock.... | |

Being that I've spent a good deal of my life with 'beach access', I'll say I've never been a big swimming pool kind of person either. Plus I hate chlorine. But I do have a soft spot for natural looking swimming pools. | |

Since the only time I get into a pool is to swim laps, I want it to have square sides and a standard length. That way, I don't have to guess how far I've swum. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |
