Is it on DVD? Never released on DVD. I had heard this would happen while the movie was in theaters so I saw it twice.

That totally makes sense to me. It's a lesson on how marriage should not mean telling every single secret you have to your spouse.

I got the message albeit on the second viewing; the first viewing I was but the ending was just so abrupt. It actually fits in with the rest of the film when I think about it.

I own this movie. Now I need to see it. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Spanking the Monkey
* Graffiti Bridge is not a WTF movie: it would have to be a movie first. 2 problems (well 3 counting the set and over all production values) 1) should NOT have been a squeal of Purple Rain 2) the over all story plot is fine (not original but that is fine). Just it needed an actual writer to write it. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

I suppose I'll be on the lookout for Barney flicks at various film fests. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I had a similar reaction after watching this one:
I respect Burton's work very much, I just didn't feel this one, I don't know...

Drawing Restraint 9 - About a Japanese whaling ship that tries to correct its bad karma by booking couples to mate on it and turn into whales to replenish the ocean. There's also a subplot about constructing a huge petroleum jelly sculpture. is this actually available from somewhere now? i've seen a large portion of it online and i thought it was great. i love that weird, inconceivably, headache inducing kinda madness and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

i put that film on sometimes when i have company over. it's kind of like an alternative to one of those "fireplace" or "aquarium" dvd's. that's about all it's good for and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I still don't know what the fuck Muholland Drive is about. Other than lesbians. That's the one David Lynch movie I totally understood. It's split into two stories: the first half is what Naomi Watts' character imagined Hollywood life would be like when she moved there and the second half is what actually happened. I have no idea what's going on in Lost Highway. The crazy guy killed his wife and is on death row, and imagines himself living as another person... at the end in reality he is being executed at the end. In his fantasy he is in a car chase. I thought Mullholland was a reworking of this same idea My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid
