Help: fun activities to do in Toronto

I've seen it all, done it all, I'm stuck. I can't travel elsewhere yet so have to find new things to do while saving up. Any suggestions?

I've got to be the most boring man in this city. But I bet Ace could come up with tons of fun stuff.

...It might not all be legal, though. shhh

I've done it all but feel like there is more I'm missing out on and feel so bored. It's going to sound silly but since last year I've been feeling a big void which grew big with losing mj and trouble at my last job, top that with really bad depression I've had for awhile. I'm trying to start fresh, but that means trying new things too to feel a spark again and feel satisfaction.

Sorry to hear all this, mate. hug Have you found someone to talk to? A therapist perhaps?

What sorts of things do you enjoy? And with whom do you enjoy them? Part of my own problem, I know, is my current circle of associates aren't into things I'm curious about... so it's often the same old restaurants, malls, etc. with them. Perhaps meeting new people will lead to new insights and adventures.

yeah I'm in therapy and doing all that, and I'm job searching

I admitted that though my friends are loyal, I've been tired of them for a long time and the same places and people have suffocated me at last, cause I ended up lashing out at someone though she forgave me after.

I like music and stuff like that and even have a network of people I keep in touch with, but feel so distant from it like it's the past now though that could change.

And I'm too shy to make new friends as well though I know need that. I have sooo many acquaintances, but they seem busy and I'm too selfish to wait for anyone to do things I want to do.

lol The irony, of course, is that I'm probably the most law-abiding person on the .org. And definitely way more boring than you, Lamm!

Running out of things to do in Toronto is like running out of things to do in New York - just not possible.

Do you play an instrument?

That's why I'm not satisfied and know there's something that's not clicking and I'm just acting blind.

I play piano and voice, and I've been active in that in the past, but put it behind for now to take care of a few things. Music is too painful to deal with and I got the Velvet Rope out of me already, so I need something to give me a spark again.

and New York is AWESOME! But I got to stick with T-dot and be creative

ace: I wrote about how I feel and came up with some deep stuff, but now it bores me

sextoseven, that sounds really good, will try it out. Did you go to the Drake for the Prince jam? I totally forgot about it though I had planned on attending this year.

I don't know if they're as frequent as every month, but I do still see flyers for them every so often.

I've never been in Toronto for any Prince jams. I hardly do anything really fun when I'm there since I'm usually visiting relatives. neutral

Which brings up the question: How do you order... in the dark? You can't be in complete blackness the entire time, right? confuse

no there's a lobby that's fully lit
and we choose our entrée and desert there with the staff

then when they're ready (it's reservations only) our waiter will make his way out, explain protocol and lead us in practically hand in hand (he knows where he's going in any condition - he's blind)

we walk into the dark room and are seated - he lets us know where everything is
then we wait for food and let the good times roll lol

We heard you singing lol but we were over-analyzing the menu at the time I think debating what would be good to eat in the dark.
