I've done the Honeymoon, so let's say I'd spend my next anniversary doing a three-month-long tour of the Mediterranean. nod

If money and time were not factors, we would've gone on a cruise around the world.

If money hadn't been a factor, my wife would've wanted to honeymoon in ITALY.

Personally, if money didn't mattter, I would've wanted to honeymoon in TAHITI.
RIGHT HERE:

But since we were on a budget, we went to CANCUN.
Stayed at the Oasis Cancun, which was a bit "spring-break-ish" but we were married in early May, so there were mostly families & honeymooners there. The room was tiny, but hey...who noticed?

It was awesome!!!!

I LOVE CANCUN!

What you have to do when you get there is get out of the hotel zone and go into the real town. The rain forest on the way to the pyramids are also amazing.

To be fair, I was there 12 years ago. I've been told things are different now.

When we were there, we were told to stay clear of the "real" part of Cancun, lest we get mugged (or worse). Now with all that violence down there, I'm sure not many tourists leave the hotel zone.

We did go to the Pyramids, and it was amazing. Standing at the top and looking at miles and miles of jungle all around was breathtaking. Xcaret was nice, especially snorkelling through the underground river.

probably trying to do something totally untypical, which in this day and age is a bit difficult. But definitely seeing something majestic. Like...

I was there in 1995.I think it helped that I look like one of their citizens and I spoke the language. Heehee!! I thought to myself. "Oh my God, I'm home. Everyone looks like me...or vice-versa."

Ottensen

Maldives?

It's advertised on CNN (EU) here all the time and it just seems so remote and in the middle of the water somewhere...out there...I went to Fiji once but that was on an advertising client's dime, and I had no expenses as it was corporate/production. The airfare to these places are so high for me for such a short durartion. I've never dropped 5,000 euro on my own plane ticket before, and I'm too much of a cheapskate to even think about saving for that amount lurking

since money isnt a factor

Italy
Tokyo
Some random island where there is no one else apart from us and is hot
plus i'd hire a private jet (i hate cruises)
And if you were with me tonight,
I'd sing to you just one more time.
A song for a heart so big,
god wouldn't let it live.
