Oh-! I get it. I'm not thinking about going on vacation this year because I have too many home repairs to deal with. Why NOT think about vacationing though? If you have the money, then the RESPONSIBLE thing to do is to go ahead with your usual plans. There are many, many people whose livelihoods depend on tourist money. ....if i could go on vacation, alone, it would be somewhere with clear blue water, white sandy beach, a bungalow amongst some palm trees and a party, some shopping, a water slide, water skiis and a massage around the corner.
I would definitely be seeking to get my groove back.....JUST NOT WITH MY EX! ! ! ! ! ! ! !! ! ! dam i'm sick of him! ! ! ! ! 
i could really get into a charming island native  and i hope he is fine as red wine....
