In all fairness to the transgender communities all round the world, what if "she" no longer has a penis?!? hmmm

Wouldn't change my opinion. Being a man is about more than having a penis.

which, ironically, is precisely why i would be open to dating a transgender person.

and we've never claimed to be transgender just expressed our opposition to how soon one should start the transition, because there are people like us who'd be in a world of hurt if they started to early.

you've attacked both of us, without reading what we stating and why. just like you did in the thread last week.

you'd don't read anything anyone writes just skim it and jump to conclusions.

I didn't attack you personally. I attacked your attitude against the transgender community. You don't know what you're talking about

He doesn't have an "attitude". He is very involved and very close to the community. He might not be an expert, neither am I, but that does not equate having an attitude or hostility or hatred towards that part of our community.

This is a great thread. And no, I wouldn't date or marry a Transgender. We can be friends but that's all.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

i'm sorry dear, when it comes to the way i felt as child i do know what i'm talking about. just because you don't agree with my view on prepubescent hormone therapy doesn't mean i'm against the transgender community. once again you do not understand life as an out gay man or a gay man. i've never claimed to speak on behalf of my transfriends just shared my experiences.

And you don't know what it's like to be a transgender man or woman. Everything I have said here is what has been taught to me by the transgender community and the organizations that support them. You have to realize when discussing this topic among the ignorant, who already have warped opinions on what it means to be transgender, it is important to state the facts and not personal theories or opinions. People on this thread have already displayed their biased attitudes towards the community. You even posted about the Day of Remembrance in another thread. Many of those trans woman were murdered because of the perception that they were gay men trying to deceive or "bait and switch" straight men. When more than one person comes on here and suggests that some straight trans women may be confused gay men, it completely undermines the cause for better understanding the basics of the trans community. That is better discussed in a trans forum or chat and even that suggestion won't be completely excepted. That suggestion also nullified that fact there are trans men and women who are gay/lesbian, bi, omnisexual, and asexual

once again. iwas speaking from my personal experience and how i formed my opinions on how early to start the transition. FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. you have no room to discount my personal experience. i've never on this thread claimed to speak from anything but that. now i'm sure you are going to conitune on spouting negativity as you always do and want to have the last word.

Are you a transgender person yourself, or just have friends who are?

I really wish you would stop talking about what I always do. How about you click on my profile and read every thread on that list and then proceed to tell me what I always do

kinda but not really.

wikipedia says that the term applies to people who do not recognize the binary system of sexuality, gender, or biological sex. According to them, a bisexual person is one who is attracted to men and women whereas an omnisexual person's sexual attractions are much more loose in their definitions.

I think wikipedia explains it better than me, though.
