I agree. Her behavior is even more bizarre considering she clearly wants (and maybe even expects) MJ fans to support her. I personally feel that Janet had a "BUT IM STILL HERE!" reaction after his death. I think she assumed all of Michael's fans would become hers and she wouldn't have to worry about being overshadowed but that didn't happen.

Unlike some of you, i cannot speak on what Janet's thinking. I'm not a mind reader and i'm not in her head. But, as far as Janet's ability or MAYBE 'non-ability' to play 'stadiums, if she is scheduled to perform in three different venues in one state, two venues holding a capacity of 19,000 people and another venue holding a capacity of 21,000 people, in the same state, doesn't that equal the capacity of one stadium? There are countless states where she's to perform at two to three different venues/arenas within the same state. And, those venues hold 10 to 20,000 capacity. That equals a stadium. Her tour, most shows was selling out at first. But, due to her surgery and cacelling or postponing her European Tour, it's like she has to start ALL over again selling tickets.

Oh! And, have ANY of you seen photos of her jewelry line/collection?! OMG!!! Necklaces, earrings, rings! BLINDING!!! After i saw them, i feel as though this tour is simply for the fans. I remember her saying, she'd perform for free, if she could.

Uhm, no. When you have 3 concerts you can have people going to 3 concerts. But when you have 1 stadium concert you need 50.000 people going to that 1 concert. So no, it's not quite the same.

If that would be the case, then she wouldn't have pulled out of the european tour.

Her pulling out from the european tour may not have had anything to do with tickets sales. I had checked. Her ticket sales were ok there. My point is ALL of us can specular. None of us really know the answer as to the decision made about the european tour.

I remember that and went wtf too, but the show was pre recorded and someone I know that was there said it was edited in, she was not laughing. I thought that was in poor taste for sure [Edited 3/28/16 8:42am]

Its possible the laughing could have been editing in but c'mon why would you allow a comedian to make a cheap dig at your brother on YOUR show? It wasn't even something MJ could have laughed at. It was mean spirited.

This is exactly what I've been saying for years. Just focus on acting, and I thought she could have a sitcom role as well cause she's really not that old and looks great and can pull of a role like when she was jo, and what Vanessa Williams did on Ugly Betty, and make cameo appearances on some current sitcoms.

I don't think janet would want to be in a show that's based on her character, unless it's based on a personality of hers we don't know about and remains a mystery hehe Making Why Did I Get Married a trilogy would be awesome. I want to see her with The Rock.

I can't even remember the joke, or just blocked it out cause I was watching it with family, and when the mj bashing came, I went into a panic cause I knew there was going to be dissing going on then :*( I used to get really down when people couldn't see what I did when it came to mj. I just remember jamie foxx had a picture of jj from good times I think and he had a glove on his penis or something...

Janet is in a class of her own, they didn't need to do that to paint her as the normal jackson, like bashing another one to bring her up. Her work speaks for itself.

I completely agree with everything you stated!

But as a another poster mentioned, all that "normal jackson" push only garnered fairweather fans.

I will never forget MTV did a countdown on the greatest video artists of all time and they listed Michael at number 7 and Janet at number 3. I thought that ws complete crap Lol This was back in 2001.

I disagree with that but I do agree she has earned the right to be mention along side him. Janet relished in all the "normal jackson" attention she received. Now that things have changed, she has regressed. She uses her association with MJ to sell her brand.
