You're missing me, I'm missing you... I'll be rescheduling our Unbreakable shows in Europe as soon as I can. Xoxo

confused neutral Really?

Right. So it took 4 days to come up with that?? Seriously?

Firstly, she pissed away all the trust people gave there.

Secondly, she let people rightly piss all over her for 4 days.

Thirdly, after the biggest harm done to her european touring career in 15 years, she says she's gonna reschedule, without any further explanation whatsoever and expect people to go through all the hassle to get tickets and preparations to go to shows again.

disbelief this is her only response?! Yet another promise to "reschedule" the tourdates? LOL ...what about the fans who already bought tickets, made traveling plans, and booked hotel rooms for the cancelled shows?! She will be very lucky if these fans decide to buy tickets to any rescheduled shows.

Wow. I don't think it was an appropriate time to quote song lyrics. It may not be my show but I'm having anxiety too cause I took time off from work in place of my and my friends birthday weekends and am beginning to regret it

Nah, you missed the point: Gil or any of the dancers certainly won't publicly complain about not getting paid. Why would Gil talk about that?

Janet is back in Los Angeles now.

What's wrong with Janet being on a TV show? That's exactly where her career began and she clearly enjoys acting. Her touring days are pretty much over,so time to focus on something else.

And....a TV show is something that she can't "postpone" repeatedly smile she would really have to show up to do her job! lol

I will ALWAYS support Janet!!! I'm not a fairweather fan like most on here. EVERYBODY makes mistakes or decisions that are hard to make.

I'm very disappointed that most on here turned their back on her. Plus threw Janet under the bus.

I've been supporting Janet since.....

I am SO disappointed in Janet. She is screwing up her own career at this point. SERIOUSLY, what sane person would quote song lyrics and people are tweeting how pissed they are because they booked hotels or took off from work to see you but you just canceled with NO legitimate explanation?????????? She BETTA NOT cancel none of those US dates because if so I am going to be pissed off.

Unfornately, I agree with this entire post. After SuperBowl fiasco imo it showed that Janet had more fairweather fans than die hard. During Rock Wit U era she could hardly feel an arena! Its very telling that despite all MJ's controversies, he was able to sell out 50 arena dates, which (I did the math) would have been 1 million tickets sold, IN ONE CITY. Thats incredible! I don't think anybody alive could sell 1 million tickets in just ONE city.

I still think MJ could have sold out in America too but it was smart of him to tour internationally when the controversy began in America. Unlike Janet, he did not play victim. He chose to tour outside of America which made him a even more international star. I don't know if its because MJ experienced more controversy, etc than Janet but IMO he showed way more resilence and strategy when he had to go to plan B when controversies hits. Janet just seems too indifferent and non-reactive when contrversy hits. Even during the 00's decade, Michael still made collector albums, documentaries, anniversary releases, etc he still catered to his fans in some way all through that horrible decade while Janet on the other hand has done.....nothing for her fans. It would have been a risk to tour internationally for her, since she was never a big international star anyway, but it would have been a risk I personally would have taken to save my career. Janet relies to much on the U.S. market/fans (the same feakle market that cost her alot). She should rebrand herself and try to broaden her audiences. Janet just doesnt seem to care at all to me.

Reading the MJ thing really made me emotional. He was putting fans before himself too much for his own good if you ask me as well, I miss him so much. I love janet and these days I do play her more than mj, but this does confirm she was never big as him in europe though this does not take away from her musical impact at all, and fans used to get mad when I said mj and other artists of their time were much more well known there. I can't recall where in Europe Janet performed during Number Ones, but it would have been smarter booking those venues cause they were a success. I don't agree with some strategies janet's team went with, but I do know that to do anything, you need label backing, and she wasn't pleased with virgin or def jam at all when things were happening. She knew which singles would do well, and side projects she wanted to do, but had contractual obligations, and it seems like she didn't have as much say in it like we want to believe.

[Edited 3/10/16 8:11am]

I reallly miss Michael so much too sad There is not a day that goes by where I dont think about him.

AgreeI think he did too sadly. I love him and appreciate that he geniunely cared about his fans but I think he always placed his fans above his own personal needs at times. However, its not any lost for him because he has a solid dedicated fanbase because of that and he will continue to have more fans for future generations.

Janet doesn't make that same investment which is going to be her downfall. Similiar with Prince. They won't have a strong legacy if they dont invest in their back catalogs and expose their classics/music to future generations.

What about the fans of the first 16 years. Who is going to give them their long overdue just due. Without them, There is no legacy to even try and maintain for the future

I agree that if real life is getting in the way of grueling world tours, Janet should just choose a few strategic venues. But this wishy washy cancellation/rescheduling business is bad. Better off just to scrap the whole thing at one time...

If something was seriously wrong with her father, she would say that just like she did when Joe had those mini strokes last year. She told fans that she was post poining a show to be closer to her father. If it was something seriously related to her father, she would tell her fans. Stop spreading lies and rumors.
