I always liked LMP's style, even during her first album though she was this close to being Avril Lavigne's mom I believe her when she said she became very stressed out and had health problems after the divorce even if they still had a fling for some time.

I totally agree and was thinking the same thing. When Lisa was with Michael, she looked like an "old Hollywood" movie star. After Michael was out of the picture, she seemed to let herself go.

I realize that Michael was into that Hollywood glamour. I wonder if perhaps he was the mastermind behind her look when they were together. She really looked beautiful during that time.

I agree with everything that you said. Although I think he could've had a life long partner if she were a submissive woman. I think he liked having a financial equal, but I don't think he wanted someone who wasn't submissive, and Lisa challenged him. IMO. I think he would've liked someone more passive like his mother.

Against my better judgement - and because I simply don't know better as far as his bio books are concerned - I've been reading "The Magic, The Madness, The Whole Story" by J. Randy Taraborrelli I didn't know I had a sadistic nature till now. This author grates my last fuckin' good nerve, yet I can't stop flipping the pages. My B.S. radar is ringing up a storm yet I can't seem to put this book down

Anyone with the Bad 25 anniversary boxset have an issue with scratched discs?. It was brand new & sealed but it seems the packaging (the CDs & DVD are in cardboard sleeeves) have caused the discs to be marked & scratched. I'm guessing I might have a similar issue with the discs due to the packaging in a new set too, so not sure if I should get it replaced or not?.

J. Randy actually took back some of the stuff he said about Diana in his updated biography about her so even his research into Diana is as questionable as the one with MJ. There's no book that actually really does MJ justice other than Joe Vogel's. I forgot the title of his book but I heard it went into detail about the most important subject about Michael: his music.

People on Soul Train were doing it three years before the Jacksons ever did it. Hell James Brown even did the robot on an episode of Soul Train around 1973 while performing "Get on the Good Foot". It was created by someone (I forget his name) around the late 1960s... I forgot who Michael said he learned the dance from.

You sure? I don't recall... I doubt they knew what that dance was in 1972, and no I've seen folks doing the robot on Soul Train. The Jackson 5 didn't invent the robot, they popularized it (Michael in particular). But just because they were the first ones many folks saw doing it don't mean they were the first. I just located one dancer who did it before MJ: Damita Jo Freeman, who was doing it in '72. James Brown saw her dancing this step and did it in the middle of one of his medleys in early '73.

He started a group called the Robot Brothers in the late '60s and they started doing the dance... Michael said he saw it performed on Soul Train so he must've saw Charles do it. Him and Damita Jo and decided to learn how to get the move down after recording Dancing Machine because they felt the dance made sense with the song (it did).
