That's the point, it's not scandalous but it was blown up to be one, but we would hear about it for weeks if she was michael jackson, but cause she's not and cause many others are not, the news died down. And even before michael made bad decisions, his name was dragged in the mud from an early age and escalated when he became too, too popular.

I don't think the superbowl was intentional and I knew the slapping story was bullshit, so please don't assume all people in this thread share a brain. I still don't condone what janet participated in though.

Not saying that I agree with what some MJ fans say about Janet. That sucks, is uncalled for and is getting on my nerves as well. But the difference is, Michael is dead, Janet isn't, so if some tempers and emotions run high, there is a reason for that. MJ Fans have every right to feel the way they do. Especially with how he died and how everything went down. And to lump everyone together is ridiculous. You find MJ fans in all walks of life. Not all are the same. Also just because some MJ fans know more than others or have a different understanding doesn't make anyone crazy. And MJ fans do know more about him than non fans.
It's a sad world we live in when people want to pit siblings against each other over something as stupid as money and how many albums they've sold. Do I think Janet has mental health issues? Absolutely! She's admitted to suffering from depression on more than one interview and depression is a mental health issue. Is she 'crazy'? No, I don't think she is; but, depression can make you do some irrational things at times. I love and respect MJ and Janet for their talents and achievements and see no reason why anyone should disrespect one while they praise the other. Michael didn't come out a solo artist...he was a member in the Jackson 5. He was the one everyone gravitated towards the most in the popular department but he would have never made it to where he was without his brothers...and neither would have Janet. To respect one and not all of them for what they managed to do as a whole is really stupid and wrong to me. I don't care how obsessed anyone is with MJ or Janet...without the Jackson 5 nobody would know either of them so if you love either of them you should respect everyone in that family for setting the foundation they needed to stand on and become the superstars they both became.
