Why did it look like she was in slow motion through out the performance?

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

It was okay. It wasn't that radically different from what the Black Eyed Peas did last year, but I'm sure she'll get a lot more positive press on this than BEP did.

I give it 3 stars out of 5. I think she should have showed a little more confidence in herself and at least done the majority of the performance without cameos. The World Peace thing at the end seemed kinda cheezy to me as well.

Change it one more time..

That's true, so it wasn't too bad. Seriously guys can I tell you as a professional choreographer that intro and the entire thing was straight fire! Especially during Vogue! She was killin it and so were her dancers! Madge is fucking amazing.

I agree with this."Vogue" was an odd choice. She really should have opened with "Holiday",a more appropriate song for an event like this.

Mediocre. The visuals, especially at the end, were quite nice, but everything else kinda underwhelmed me.

Plus, I realized that new Madonna song just reeks although that may be because it was sandwiched between much better songs.

A lot of theatrics + no real instruments in sight +lipsynching + poor song selection = LAME PERFORMANCE! For all of her arrogance, that performance just proves why the people who would pay $300 for her concert tickets are NUTS!

Like a Prayer was the best part of the performance- other than that, Madonna disappointed.

I didn't know Madonna was known for her live singing?lol I haven't been interested in her music since the early 90s but when I was into her, she was lip-synching a lot.

So wack! She brought out those LMFAO clowns, who I think is the worst group in Pop History. How do these jackasses get so many high profile gigs???

Oh, I know how...

Props to Cee-Lo for being the only person out there who actually sang live!

That was one of the worst Superbowl performances that I have seen. It was equally as bad as the Black Eye Peas last year. From a purely musical standpoint it was awful. The majority of it was lip synched, the only instrument outside of the marching band (which Prince did MUCH better with FAMU in his performance) was a drum set that was off far away in a corner. The song selection was completely inappropriate for a Superbowl audience. It is not a Madonna concert, it is a Superbowl.

Bigger is not better. Having a grand display of technology or tens of people dancing on stage does not a great MUSICAL PERFORMANCE make.

Highlights of the lameness:

LIPSYNCHING!!!!

The guy on the tightrope

LMAO - talk about a desperate attempt to be relevant

The song choices - Vogue, Like a Prayer, the new song @ the Superbowl?????

Madonna's dancing - she seemed off, lethargic, uninspired

Allowing another artist - Cee-Lo - to do the only real singing

That cheesy "World Peace" tack-on at the end was so out of place

perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

she usually lipsynchs vogue.

but i would say 99% of her shows now are live... maybe the evita singing lessons helped her..

her concerts are great..

this was definitely not up to that level .. or even close.

Bingo! On a messageboard dedicated to one of the greatest musician/live performers of all time, there shouldn't be one word about that performance being anything but pure shit.
