I haven't been able to watch any of the trial. My sister occasionally turns on Nancy Grace, and when she starts talking about the trial, and how Michael was the one, that gave himself the lethal dose, I end up getting pissed off,and yelling at the TV. sad

Wow, we're three pages deep already and we don't even have a verdict yet......

I will be surprised if they don't come to a decision today. At least they're giving it ample thought versus a knee jerk reaction.

HLN is reporting that mama n papa are just getting a hotel room near the courthouse to be close if a verdict comes back later today. I guess its raining in La La land and that freaks everyone out.

The judge seems kinda of tough ass and was going to read the verdict even if the family hadnt arrived yet.

If you are saying that then I have fear that lay people on the jury may come to the same conclusion.

Not criticizing you Nursev... just saying. neutral

I still think Murray will walk.

Do you think that there is possibility that Conrad Murray's negligence was not related to MJ's death in any shape or form based on the cases presented? (Not on what was discussued or based on your previous knowledge.)

No I don't think the 2 are unrelated. If I was on that jury 4 things would stick out in my mind.

1) The picture of MJ dancing side by side with the picture of his lifeless body 24 hours later.

2) the fact that Murray was the last one to see him alive and was administering a "treatment"

3) that expert after expert (even defense experts) have all agreed that this "treatment" is dangerous in this setting, not a common treatment or even effective for this ailment, and that death was caused by this treatment.

4) and that all experts except the one paid a great deal of money have all said that it is not possible for MJ to obtain the medication, set up the administration of the med and it was physically not possible that MJ could give the med himself.

Also, to add, the Doctor has admitted that he left a person unconcious without any basic precautions, no airway maintenance, no oxygen, no monitors.

I don't need to be medical person to understand the facts presented. I watched Schaffer's testimony and felt a lot of hope. He was very patient and thorough explaining things in layman's terms. The jury can easily grasp his testimony.

That Dr. White with all that confusing BS can possibly confuse them enough to doubt their own ability to understand the subject... and that was his purpose. To confuse just enough to make people think there is doubt.

Why judge on the hours? There were people who spent three-five days on a verdict and it was never likely what the verdict would be.

I mean that it shows the jury is giving it their all in deciding a verdict-they're not just giving a quick verdict but actually working at it.
