Just saw there is going to be a documentary airing on Friday about Dr. Conrad Murray in which he speaks about his friendship with MJ. Me thinks it comes a little too late, but it may be good that it comes before sentencing...Maybe.

Exactly! michael aready went to rehab and even made a video in which he admitted he had a problem! lol

What MJ said at that time was he had a dependency on pain medication due to the ongoing issues with his scalp stemming from the Pepsi accident. That means he needed more of the pain meds to deaden the REAL PAIN of his scalp injury so he could go about his normal activities and he sought help to wean himself because MJ and his whole family were always known for being ANTI-DRUGS. That's why Beat It was used in an anti-drug campaign and MJ was the squeaky clean face of it. Drug addicts are escaping intangible/non-physical pain and torment caused by a variety of factors but not an actual physical injury. The kind of junkie/drug addict that the media has tried to make everyone believe MJ was is looking to escape from reality, not from a throbbing scalp that has suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns and reconstructive surgery.

That was at least five years after he got burned. I would think his skin healed by then.

I am not saying he started using drugs to escape reality, but apparently he got hooked somewhere along the way. There is no shame in that either. It happens. People get hooked in many different ways and for many different reasons, and more often nowadays it is from pills that they get after an injury--not because they want to get high.

The addicts do experience REAL PAIN when they stop using. Elvis was anti-drug too. That is why these doctors are so shameful because they have people believing that it's okay to pop these pills because they trust doctors and because the drugs are legal if prescribed.

I don't see why it's so important to think he did not have a problem. He admitted he had a problem. We all have problems.

Michael Jackson and the Doctor Documentary. Articles complete with showtimes in US, UK and Australia. Don't close it just yet lazycrocket. Unless you are going to start a final thread. We still have the sentencing and this story isn't yet over.

the only people who want to see this p.o.s. are deluded people like yourself. if murray had anything relevant to say, the judge gave him an opportunity to say it in court. i've seen some of the quotes from this mockumentary, and not shockingly, murray gives his alternate version of reality, already disproven in court.

what makes you think that the judge - who sent a clear message to that dirtbag yesterday by locking him up pdq - is going to look at this self-serving crap and decide to go easy on him?

The sentencing won't happen till the end of the month. The trial is over and I really dont see a reason to continue. There is a sticky for everything MJ and honestly thats pretty much now where everything belongs.

I would guess the breaking news about the documentary Murray's been doing during the trial deserves that thread to stay open, or people will just start a new thread I guess...

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

I feel bad for Conrad Murray. He did bad things, but manslaughter?

Involuntary manslaughter is the lesser degree of murder. Wtf were they supposed to charge him with? Self-defense? Justifiable homicide?!?!
