SHE DID "WHEN WE OOH" IN VEGAS???!!!!! SHE DID "WHEN WE OOH" IN LAS VEGAS??!!!! FOR THE FIRST TIME, LIVE, EVER???!!! headbang woot! omg

Janet delivered as always, and I loved the dance routine. Luv the look, too. I know she dedicated this song to someone in the audience--not sure if it was her boyfriend or not. Maybe Wissam was in the audience. Go! Janet! I don't think she will come back here again, so I especially enjoyed seeing her shows. Up close and personal, indeed! wink

Superstar Janet Jackson kicked off her weekend in Las Vegas last night with a sold-out performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. It’s the first of three concerts in her celebrated Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour stop at the music venue that now houses Celine Dion, Sir Elton John and Rod Stewart.

Thanks to Las Vegas Sun photographer Justin M. Bowen for his photo gallery of Miss Jackson, who hit the stage in a very casual black tank top, a belt with a white skull buckle and blue jeans. Jackson’s ex, producer Jermaine Dupri, is a regular Las Vegas visitor spinning the wheels of steel as a DJ in nightclubs.

She looks GORGEOUS!!

I cosign. She is breathtaking. Love her with short hair. As for fashion, like the death rocker belt and love Hermes belt (earlier pics with her boyfriend).

Yeah love her short hair, brings out her stunning bone structure. A truly beautiful looking family!

Seriously considering getting tix to her Royal Albert Hall shows.

Favourite album? Really tough. Control is incredible. Rhythm Nation is phenomenal. I love the whole 'Black Panther' styling too. Respect militant girl x

I think it was her manager. That really is a hot performance though!

did she "set the song" up in any way as it was a non-single (unless it hit #1 in Trinidad or something) and doesn't FIT the theme of the tour. i'm glad she did it, it looks great. i'm glad the tour is showing new & different wrinkles. means her creativity is flowing and she's not just going thru the motions

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. She performed it for her manager because it was his birthday.

I agree. "When We Oooo" is one of the many songs I've been waiting for her to do on tour, and it finally happened.

I'm over the moon she's did 'when we oooo'. It was my second favourite song off AFY after the title track. It's still a strange choice because only recently in an interview she said she hadn't heard the song since she recorded it.

I'm now waiting for "where are you now", "feels so right", 'enjoy', 'roll widchu', 'empty' and 'island life' to be done live.

LOL I just saw that on Oprah! He worked with her on the very short-lived series "A New Kind of Family", and he attended her Rhythm Nation launch party, so I'm sure they're probably friends.

Were u a guest, extra or production person? This show is the most mysterious part of Janet's entire career, as it's never seen and never talked about. I know it only lasted one season, and was after Good Times and before Diff'rent Strokes, and that Telma Hopkins played her mother, and Rob Lowe and Eileen Brennen were also in it, but that's about it.

Well back in 79,When I was a child actor. I was one of a hand full of kids. That was picked to dance with Janet in a 50's themed scene on the short lived series. I stood out because I was the only black boy in the scene. It turned out to be the very last show. I knew because there was a wrap party afterwards. I worked on the show for three days & was in heaven. Because I had a big crush on Janet. I couldn't believe I was working that close to her. It was my first time meeting her.

Since we were underage,We had tutors together. I barely did any of my school work from staring at her. She was very sweet & extremely shy around me. But not the females. It maybe why I understand Prince song "If I was Yor Girlfriend" so much. Because I wanted her to be comfortable around me like she was with them lol.But also her mother Katherine kept a close eye on her on the set.

It was way before she made her first album. But right during the time her famous brother was turning into a sex symbol with his "Off The Wall" album. I remember that clearly, Because she was bombarded with questions about him. I felt sorry for her. Because it seemed like people just wanted to befriend her because of her famous brothers not her. But I knew what I had in front of me a star. Even back then. When the show aired, I was bombarded with questions about her back at school. Like she was with her brothers.

I ran into her a few more times over the years. The last time was after she became a superstar herself. I brought up the show with her & we laughed. She still is just as sweet now as she was back then. U right no one knows much about that show "A New Kind Of Family" & when I tell people I worked with her, They don't believe me. Because they never heard of the show before. But now Rob Lowe has changed that.

this sounds like something that came straight from an unedited memoir....

Rob Lowe wasn't the only Brat Packer that Janet hung out with. Molly Ringwald attended a Janet party during the Control era.

Emilio Estevez presented an MTV Movie Award to her in 1994

An excerpt from Rob Lowe's new memoir:

"Lowe also kisses Holly Robinson, and befriends another young girl named Janet on the set of his short-lived ABC TV sitcom A New Kind of Family. On the day the show is canceled, Janet says, “I’m done with acting… I’m going into music. If my brothers can do it, so can I.” It’s Janet Jackson."
