It just doesn't make any sense that you write a whole derogatory diatribe about me and yet I get the "ad hominem" label with my reply to you. That would also imply that you had a point in said diatribe, which I couldn't find other than basically saying that my opinion is wrong. lol

You STILL can't read.

May I add that for someone who is continually attempting to insult my intelligence, you may want to spend less time making sure the accent is properly placed in Ms. Knowles' name and more time learning to distinguish the word "too" from the word "to":

There's a clear angle to just about ALL of Beyoncé's songs and her work in general, you're just to stupid to catch it.

Given the nature of your statement, that is just TOO funny. wink

You better pick out typos to make yourself feel better. lol Actually I noticed that shortly after I posted it, however, since what I was saying was still clear, I didn't feel it was worth editing. Thank you for paying more attention to my post than I did, though.

And let's not forget this little morsel:

Anyway, I don't really care what you THINK is pathetic, considering it probably took you about three days to stir up that dusty brain and complete that thought.

It probably could have taken you three seconds to see that the time stamp of my reply came 6 hours after yours, while this reply of yours came 30 hours after mine. Is that your "ritmetic" failing you? wink

What does that have to do with anything? That was not a reference to how long it took you to return to the topic and reply. It was in reference to you being stupid and worthless. lol

Now you're just spiraling into self-parody. lol The irony of your insults to my intelligence making no sense is very entertaining! Perhaps you should get your daddy to manage you and hire a nebulous and extensive team of writers for your material, or is that already in place?

And you STILL can't read. That ALSO had nothing to do with the post that you are clearly unable to address. Sad. lol

Anyway, I'm done with you. It's starting to feel like punching a baby.

My ability to juxtapose letters on a keyboard into words and sentences that you can understand must be particularly baffling to you, then, if I can't read! lol

The only real content of your posts to me that aren't directly about me seems to consist of you saying that Beyonce's music has substance and a clear angle, a sentiment with which I wholeheartedly disagree. There really isn't anything more to say about it. I'm not going to tell you that your opinion is wrong, just that I disagree with it.

wow, at first I thought this video was a spoof. This really is Beyonce.

What is the video about? It looks like they ran out of ideas for a video so they just let Beyonce dress up in a series of revealing outfits and just did a Beyonce "dress up" video.

What a waste of time that was... unless you are a man. Centerfold of a gentleman's magazine is on the horizon.

I prefer Alicia Keys more than Beyonce. While Beyonce may have what it takes to move a dance floor it doesn't translate well at home. Alicia Keys can actually write danceable tracks and still manage to craft more memorable songs. I think Alicia Keys catalog will stand the test of time and Beyonce's will age badly.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Wait, wasn't there like only 1 album dedicated to "old school" romance music? By the way, I actually liked that period for her. She worked with Ray, Goodman and Brown, and did that song "You don' t know my name.

Exactly she hasn't been popping her coochie for the last two of her CD's like Beyonce. Beyonce isn't going to look good in 10 years of marriage doing 'Single Ladies' or 'Freakum Dress'. Alicia can come back and pull out most of her songs and they'll have a relevance to them that an audience can get behind.

I prefer Beyonce. Alicia - attempts to be a credible and profound songwriter - but I can't take lyrics like 'Some people want it all, but I want nothing at all if I aint got you' seriously. And she gets inspired from hair shampoo adverts when trying to write a genuine heartfelt love song - so cheesy beyond words.

both of them are not my cup of tea but alicia keys is one of the most OVERRATED artsist I have seen in years. The chick can sing better than most chicks, but vocally she is not MUCH. She struggles to hit big notes and she's always straining. she's an alto but she doesnt have the ability to hit sopranic notes (she tries tho). Her voice isnt that versatile either. She's also a bland pianist. another thing, her music ALL sounds the SAME. I cant distinct one song of hers from another.

Beyonce has an incredible voice, and a great performer. the chick CANT dance tho. she does no technical dancing. she does dance moves that high school girls perform @ pep rallies and school dances. not impressive at all. Her music is very generic and commercial, she plays it real safe with her music catalgoue. at least rihanna takes more risks with her music. Beyonce also claims she "writes her own music" where Im 99% sure that Beyonce just changes a word or two and they put her down in the songwriting credits.

Both of them are wack to me, But I guess Beyonce. she has more talent then alicia could ever have.

Beyonce... incredible voice?? The high school girls in my local Baptist church puts Beyonce to shame in the vocal department.

I do like her dance moves, but as someone said... it is in the same category of high school pep rally and a little stripper dancer's moves mixed in to keep her main audience (men, and women who want the same effect on men as Beyonce has) enthralled.

If she does write her own songs... that is not saying a lot. Actually SHE doesn't have a lot to say if those are her own thoughts and words.

I'm sorry, just the years of work and practice that Alicia has obviously done to get to the point of her piano work is enough for me to choose her over Beyonce.

Her songs may sound similiar but the content really surprised me coming from such a young girl.

"I keep on falling in and out of love with you" -- Who here hasn't felt the exquisite torture of a bad love affair?

"Diary, your secrets are safe with me" a woman in love with a married man

"Samsonite man" (not a well known song) a man who is afraid of commitment and sabotages and packs up and leave just when things seemed to be going well.

Beyonce --- songs themes are I love you, I'm crazy for you, I need you to pay my bills, You are not good enough for me (you are a Booger Boo). The exception is Survivor which did speak to a lot of young women about self reliance and self esteem.

Now looks, I know a pretty face when I see it. Both women are pretty but I give it to Beyonce in the looks department. I can't speak on who has a better body. Neither are obese... that is as far as I can judge. I am straight female.. a man would have more valuable opinion on who is sexier looking.

but we aren't talking about looks... right? we are talking about musical talent.

I give it to Alicia for instrumentation and creativeness (song writing). Beyonce is showman ship.

sort of the same argument and conclusion when people compare MJ with Prince.

It appears to me that no one really is a complete package anymore in terms of entertainment.

Look at it this way:

Beyonce: lovely voice...okay dance moves (fish) ...crappy material.

Alicia: great instrumental skills...doesn't dance...voice struggles.

Ciara: hot dance moves...weak vocals.

If we could somehow combine all three, the end result would be a certified powerhouse.

Honey, stop talking and just create the music.

and here is a great singer who is working with spotty sound system.... yet you can still here that she has a great voice.

Colie Williams from D.C. working on her debut album.

NOw once again... if you are talking about facial features, great makeup and great weave.... well yeah, Beyonce hands down. But I thought we were talking about MUSIC, SINGING.

so honestly, u clicked the link I posted and still dont think beyonce is a great singer?Jill Scott is a great power house soul vocalist with great range, But Beyonce has more vocal agility and versatality over Jill.

the reason why Beyonce is a great vocalist is because she is an all in one type singer. she may not have most powerful voice, but she makes up for it with her great range and tone/pitch control. Beyonce can also hit operatic notes.. Im not a jill scott fan so if Jill has been able to sing Opera can u please post a link? Not saying Bey sings better than Jil but the only thing Jill really has on Bey is power and low notes, (and emotion).. Bey pretty much beats her in every other cataegory. Power doesnt always equate better.

You said that you were not a Jill Scott fan, so I guess you have not heard how versatile her voice really is. Beyonce CAN'T COME CLOSE TO BEING THE VOCALIST THAT JILL SCOTT IS....EVER!!! LMAO at the suggestion that Beyonce is a better vocalist than Jill Scott. Hell i just got through watching Beyonce butcher If I Was a Boy on the Essence music festival. Not saying Beyonce isn't

a good vocalist but she isn't even in the same league as Jill vocally.
