When I need a little more eye candy, I go back to Beyonce. One small thing that I observed about Alicia is that vocally she is not always on key and when it comes to songs where there is an impromptu performance. Sometimes she has to like "find her way" ie. Clive Davis's appreciation gig. I think it was halfway through the song that they were all singing before Alicia actually sang in the right key and found her pitch. Besides a bit of raspiness, most other times she's pretty polished.

Beyonce steps on Tina Turner's toe while performing Proud Mary and then acts like it never happened. Beyonce is known for falling, and watching people that she's singing with fall and then pretending like it never happened and going on with the singing. In this instance she should have at least yelled "sorry Tina" or something in between verses. It must have really hurt Tina for her to look down at her toe while in the middle of a performance in the middle of the stage at the Grammys.
