Yes because Beyonce is a paragon of intellect, as is writing in an orange font.
GORL GARGLE. It doesn't have to be an outright insult. Ad hominem, specifically ad hominem abusive, refers to an argument that attacks the opponent rather than the opponent's argument. This information can be found if you consult many lovely sources, like Wikipedia. lol Do you read ANYTHING?
I know what "ad hominem abusive" is. lol I just found it amusing that you would bring that up, given that the one snarky comment I posted was in response to this:
ratchetchan said: Yes, if that's what your dumb pussy wants to call it. LOL @ "substance". Pick up a book before you fuck MY quote button again. You clearly don't know what substance IS. ROFL @ "her character is so marginal" like you know the bitch and like she would EVER deign to know YEW. SILENCE. There's a clear angle to just about ALL of Beyoncé's songs and her work in general, you're just to stupid to catch it. It IS to LAUGH.
And your further posts are a morass of orange insults:
I didn't assume, I KNOW. lol And for the likes of YOU, yes. For those of us with an Intelligence Quotient over 50, however... ROFL @ superficial. If her music has no "depth or intellect", the last of which I didn't even CLAIM, Straw Vagina, then neither does Prince's or MJ's, for that matter. EWP! CACKLE @ music snobs. What a pathetic existence.
However, you're clearly not much of an intellectual to be fonting, seeing how you posed that ad hominem, straw man argument. *CACKLE*
However, if one doesn't want to SEE that her music has substance, which is usually because one is a pressed-ass musical snob who should be hung publicly for stupidity, then one won't. I guess this is fine if you enjoy being ignorant. Just know that I Am... > your essential bodily functions, and B'Day > your life and the lives of everyone posting in this forum. And you quoted me with bullshit, so if you didn't think we would see eye to eye, you could have kept your sagging ass in that chair.
You might as well change your screen name to adhominem with such posting demeanor. lol And while, unlike you, I won't pretend to have any insight whatsoever into your personal life, I do think your behavior online is far more pathetic than whatever snobbery you claim I adhere to, in addition to my newly ascribed sub-50 IQ and saggy ass. And all of this for Beyonce? Is it really worth it? Honestly, I find mining through her ubiquitous, obnoxious, soulless, thoughtless and banal music for anything resembling substance or merit more taxing and impossible than mining through your diatribes for a point.

Can you READ? Didn't I just font "An extra bit of sarcasm or derision is just that, EXTRA."? I can pose my argument and then end my post by saying you're a semen-gargling tart who should be lynched in the hot sun and left to be eaten by vultures. That's not fallacious, it's just bitchy. KI!

Anyway, I don't really care what you THINK is pathetic, considering it probably took you about three days to stir up that dusty brain and complete that thought. If mining through my diatribes is so taxing and impossible (which, again, isn't surprising when you have all the "reedin, ritin, and ritmetik" of Little Black Sambo), then you should have, again, not fucked my quote button with foolishness.

A final and hearty ROFL @ you calling anything "thoughtless".

Are you endlessly entertaining, I'll give you that. lol So you're allowed to be "bitchy" as you say first, but me throwing one snarky comment about your orange font merits the "ad hominem" label? Too much.

Beyonce definitely has time to grow as an artists, but she will "lose" some things as time passes. She will have to rely less on the booty shaking and the grinding onstage, and more on her raw talent. When artists get older (particularly female artists) they start to become desperate and if there is no reall substance behind their talent, then off the clothes go, and a Playboy centerfold is on it's way. When all else fails...take more clothes off. We don't need another "nipple-gate". As Beyonce ages, perhaps that irritating vocal register that she sings in will get a little lower and mature. Alica can defintely grow musically. And she can chose "how" to use her vocal instrument. Personally I also think Alicia sings at a register that is probably at the very upper limits of her range. Perhaps she should lower it a little more, and she won't be straining as much.
With ALL due respect, have you heard any Beyoncé song, album, or seen any performance since the Safely in Love era? neutral
I really can't remember the name of Beyonce's last album, but I know that I have watched some recent performances on television. Beyonce is really not one of the artists that I personally would go and pick up a CD for, so I really have not kept track of the names of her albums / CDs.

Well then you might want to zip to FlopSpace Music or something and listen to I Am... Sasha Fierce, because Beyoncé's voice hasn't been irritating in the least since early in the B'Day era. lol Her timbre has ALREADY matured and considering how she uses her voice, it will continue to do so.

Since I'm bored, lemme slay just about every stupid piece of mess on the past page:

LMAO @ Beyoncé & "camel-toe queen". You dickless niggrums have NEVER seen her pussy or the outline of it and you probably never will. This reminds me of some commenter on a blog who said they could see Bey's vulva in Single Ladies. I was like "well let's stop ALL these little white girls in ballet classes from wearing leotards, doing splits and plies and shit, lest they get on stage and we see some vulvas." lol

ROFL @ "Playboy centerfold". Only in your miserable wet dreams that cause you to change those sheets in that ratty ass bed in your stank studio apartment.

KI-CACKLE at Beyoncé's SIXTEEN (not eleven) Grammys being undeserved. You're not qualified to say anything is undeserved considering you can't count.

" 'Single Ladies' damn sure wasn't no Grammy worthy material." Oh, are you irate because that growled D5 in SL kills all of the people you stan for? That's right, ALL? Let's not get into the musical structure of the song.

"It's awefully challenging (but not impossible) to "dominate" a stage when you are seated stationary at a piano singing." Bullshit. Carole King, Aretha Franklin, Tori Amos, Lady Gaga even. And Alicia does indeed get up now, and she's just as boring and lifeless as she is when seated.

And I'll actually quote this foolishness:

Reel said:

Beyonce steps on Tina Turner's toe while performing Proud Mary and then acts like it never happened. Beyonce is known for falling, and watching people that she's singing with fall and then pretending like it never happened and going on with the singing. In this instance she should have at least yelled "sorry Tina" or something in between verses. It must have really hurt Tina for her to look down at her toe while in the middle of a performance in the middle of the stage at the Grammys.

http://www.youtube.com/wa...4H22PP1Qqo [youtube/]

Just because YOU didn't see the apology doesn't mean it didn't happen. lol She stepped on Tina's toe, not yours, and clearly Tina's been hurt much more in the past... lol lol lol lol lol I'm sure that her foot getting stepped on didn't send her world crashing down.

And what the HELL was she supposed to do when Michelle fell? Stop the performance, UNPROFESSIONALLY, and go "Oh Michelle, does it hurt? Lemme kiss it"? Please, Michelle was and is a grown woman and can pick herself up, not to mention Kelly was the one next to her anyway. You bitches really need to stop reaching! lol

It just doesn't make any sense that you write a whole derogatory diatribe about me and yet I get the "ad hominem" label with my reply to you. That would also imply that you had a point in said diatribe, which I couldn't find other than basically saying that my opinion is wrong. lol

May I add that for someone who is continually attempting to insult my intelligence, you may want to spend less time making sure the accent is properly placed in Ms. Knowles' name and more time learning to distinguish the word "too" from the word "to":

There's a clear angle to just about ALL of Beyoncé's songs and her work in general, you're just to stupid to catch it.

Given the nature of your statement, that is just TOO funny. wink

And let's not forget this little morsel:

Anyway, I don't really care what you THINK is pathetic, considering it probably took you about three days to stir up that dusty brain and complete that thought.

It probably could have taken you three seconds to see that the time stamp of my reply came 6 hours after yours, while this reply of yours came 30 hours after mine. Is that your "ritmetic" failing you? wink

Remember Rick James' quote about Alicia Keys? lol Rick James Not Much Of An Alicia Keys Fan Karu F. Daniels of EURweb.com chatted with R&B legend Rick James. Amongst his headline grabbing comments were those on Alicia Keys. “She calls her album, ‘Songs In A Minor,’ and all of the songs are in E and D,” he explained. “I don’t think she knows her grammatic skill, personally. I think she’s ‘The Gong Show.’ When she did the Donny Hathaway song in front of millions of people and fu**ed it up, that just goes to show you right there what’s going on…What about Rachelle Ferrell, or Lalah Hathaway? What about all these serious bitches that can really sing? Alicia Keys? Because Clive Davis eats the best See’s Candies and gives the best whatever, and wants to show Whitney [Houston] that she ain’t sh**, yeah, he’s going to put his effort in Alicia Keys.”

Damn,Rick is harsh! lol but there is some truth to what he said.

Key's is musically inclined but She is no more talented than Tweet or India Arie when it comes to writing, playing and vocals. Her looks have taken her a very long way.

Alicia Keys by default. At least she has a couple of songs recently that are easy on

the ears like Teenage Love Affair and her current single but she's been a snoozefest

since Diary of Alicia Keys. I definitely wouldn't spend money to see either perform

live and the only cd i own between them is Diary of Alicia Keys.

Like someone said,Alicia Keys wins by default lol She has a few songs that I actually like and she doesn't annoy me the way Beyonce does.I also think that her songs have a little more depth than the throwaway crap that Beyonce specializes in.

Still,I don't own any recordings by either lady and I probably wouldn't pay to see them in concert.

Beyonce.

Alicia Keys is pitiful, it's embarrassing how she has the hardest time staying on key in live performance. She even has moments ON RECORD where she has gone out of tune. As a pianist, I don't understand how you cannot find the note? It shocks me. Also, Alicia Keys looks have played to her advantage as well. If she was dark skin & chubby, nobody would want to hear from her off-key ass. Beyonce wins on strength of vocals & entertainment. Watch her Live in Vegas dvd. I just don't want to see someone sing in & out of tune whilst sitting at the piano for 2 hours singing boring ballads.

Yep, I mentioned earlier that Alicia seems to have challenges with finding her notes. I also don't understand why as a she pianist can't she find her note as well. Musicians who sing have a 1-up on mere vocalists in that by playing an actual instrument you are exposed over and over and over to the right chords and the right keys. This is why even non singing musicians can usually harmonize pretty well and many bands with no-singing drummers, guitarists, bass players and such are able to still have those musicians sing awesome backgrounds because they are sining ON KEY even if they don't have the best vocal quality. Why Alicia continues to have trouble in this area escapes me.

Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

Alicia's harmonies are pretty basic, Bey's harmonies are sick. She will place them anyway no matter what tempo of music it is(uptempos, mids and ballads). Bey will tell you herself that's not a big lyric-writer: You know alot of other people wrote some of the songs on this album (IASF) and I love being around great writers because I'm finding that alot of things I want to say, I dont articulate as good as maybe Amanda Ghost. But that still don't take away from her musicianship. All you need is a great ear and Bey does, and since she is such a great vocalist, she uses her voice to compose/produce/write songs.

That's because Beyoncè is the true musician out of the two. Bey has a great ear, even when she gets demos, she arranges the songs in a way that brings life to them. She just uses her voice and she can read music too, which is why I don't understand why she don't play instruments actually but she uses her voice like one.

Even a jazz musician on another message board a couple years talked about how musicially on point she is: I've worked with Beyonce. I know for a fact she is very musically talented. Is she Charlie Parker? No, but neither are any of today's jazz singers either. However in my time with her I found out she has an incredible ear (can hear better than most jazz musicians I know), knows what she wants musically from her band, and is a very hard working performer. I've played with big name jazz musicians, and in the big jazz clubs, but I would consider working with Beyonce to be just as challenging a gig as any I've had. Maybe in a different way than playing a straight-ahead gig, but none the less very challenging. http://forums.allaboutjaz...hp?t=15314

Bey is PROOF that you don't need to be an instrumentalist to be a great musician, some of the greatest vocalist are great musicians. Think about it: If Ella F.(and I am NOT comparing Bey to her, just using Ella as an example), didn't play an instrument and was a vocalist only, she wouldn't be considered a great musician? Bey might not do the music that majority is this board wants her to do, but Bey's musicianship is better than Alicia's.

It just doesn't make any sense that you write a whole derogatory diatribe about me and yet I get the "ad hominem" label with my reply to you. That would also imply that you had a point in said diatribe, which I couldn't find other than basically saying that my opinion is wrong. lol

You STILL can't read.

Given the nature of your statement, that is just TOO funny. wink

You better pick out typos to make yourself feel better. lol Actually I noticed that shortly after I posted it, however, since what I was saying was still clear, I didn't feel it was worth editing. Thank you for paying more attention to my post than I did, though.

Is that your "ritmetic" failing you? wink

What does that have to do with anything? That was not a reference to how long it took you to return to the topic and reply. It was in reference to you being stupid and worthless. lol

Now you're just spiraling into self-parody. lol The irony of your insults to my intelligence making no sense is very entertaining! Perhaps you should get your daddy to manage you and hire a nebulous and extensive team of writers for your material, or is that already in place?

Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Anyway, I'm done with you. It's starting to feel like punching a baby.

And I think she doesn't play an instrument because she doesn't have the time anymore. She played guitar long enough to write "Dangerously in Love" on it, but that was for Survivor, the album that made DC REALLY big. So I guess after that there was a lot less free time for her to learn. EDIT: but then again, she said she wrote DIL at 17. Hmm.
