Yeah, its disappointing. I know he's got better stuff in the vault. Don't get me wrong, it's good and all, just not deserving of the hype they put on it. There surely were better choices for his first posthumous release.

I'm looking forward to the motown stuff now.

What they really need to do is release the full version of "I'll Be There" that was used for the Pepsi promo, and the full adult version of "Never Can Say Goodbye" from the unreleased Decade album. There is so much amazing stuff out there they have not released. No rush, I suppose, but they really should have just included this as a bonus track or something, not as a selling point for an album of material we all own and now half the world owns seeing as how much of his material was gobbled up after death.

Compilation albums are a fact of life, especially for artists of his magnitude, but come on.

2. This was written in 1980 BUT Michael tried it out for Dangerous in 1990 or 1991 but then gave it to Safire but THEN reworked it for the o2 shows/ next album. Also, if you notice, it has a similar melody to Bless His Soul

Might as well be that they knew I Never Heard features the line this is it and chose that song.

Like I said, I definitely don't think it's bad, but I can't imagine them leaving it like this on the album. Background vocals sound good, but the countdown at the beginning, some of the instrumentation and MJ's vocals sound muddy.
