SoulAlive said: the biggest surprise: Madonna is playing Houston,Texas We all know how she feels about Texas, lol. The last time she played there was in 1990 on the "Blonde Ambition tour".
If you don't like my attitude, then you can F off just go to Texas...isn't that where they golf? OOOOOHHHHH MY GOOOOODNESS!!!!! She is FINALLY coming back to Texas after 18 years! I have actually been on a personal boycott of Madonna until she returned to Texas. For someone who is "openminded", I found it interesting that she could think that everyone in the second most populous state were the same. In Texas there can be a world of difference between the cities and areas outside of them. When her last tour was announced and Texas was excluded, I emailed her publicist and mentioned that if Cher could sale out 4 shows in Houston, surely Madonna could sell out 1. Who knows, maybe that was a factor for this tour...she IS coming to Houston and not Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio . I am just so glad she is finally returning. I wish I would have known before May 1 so I could have joined her fan club to get first dibs on tickets. Since Houston is her only Texas stop and considering she hasn't been to the state or the region in 18 years, those tickets are going to go fast from people from all over Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana . Anyway, I can't wait and I will be right there screaming my bum off. I now have some CD's to purchase. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I'm going to try and see her at MSG. I don't need front seats, just something in the middle. I wonder when tickets go on sale cause I don't want to have to go on craigslist for a ticket. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Tickets for New York go on sale for the general public on May 19 and May 12 for members of her fan club. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

Well, Janet's fucked since Madge is touring in America at exactly the same time Janet's "tour" is supposed to start! Nice to see a woman with actual professionals leading her management - you know, ones that can book and announce her tour dates right after the album release date. Congrats to Madge. I won't be seeing her since I'm not interested in this album, and it also looks like I'm *never* going to see Janet. [Edited 5/8/08 9:42am]

[Edited 5/8/08 9:42am] I'm pretty sure Janet's tour will at least play Michigan. Janet toured her AFY album the same time Madonna decided to do her first tour in many years and they both did fine.

I think with Live Nation, her focus will increasingly be on touring, and that she will indeed tour when she does not have an album to promote.
