....guess we'll have to wait for an official announcement.

I'm trying to come up with the perfect "dream setlist" and themes for this tour, but it'll take me a little more time lol Meanwhile, these are the Hard Candy tracks that will be included in my imaginary setlist....

"Candy Shop"---I think it's a safe bet that this will be the opener, just like at Roseland.

"4 Minutes"---this should be the first song of the final set...remember how "Music Inferno" kicked off the final set of the Confessions tour? I see this song filling that same slot.

"Give It To Me"---should be the second song performed....right after the opening "Candy Shop".

"Miles Away"---Every Madonna tour includes an acoustic/guitar segment, and this song is perfect for that part of the show.

"Devil Wouldn't Recognize You"---She could do something really special with this one.The song is haunting and hypnotic. At first,I thought it could be part of the acoustic set,but I think it needs the "full" sound that we hear on the CD.I don't want her to waste a powerful song just sitting on a stool with a guitar. The lyrics need to be acted out.

"Beat Goes On"---Kanye West can make a video appearance (like Missy did on the Re-Invention tour).I'd save this song for the final segment. In fact,I might save it for the second-to-last song.

"Spanish Lesson"---Yeah I know, this song sucks, lol. But I have a strong feeling that she will use it on the tour.Who knows...she may come up with a fun, interesting idea for it? Maybe perform it in a medley with "La Isla Bonita"?

That's 6 songs from Hard Candy.

I'm sure she will play a lot of the HC tracks (considering that she almost played the entire Confessions album: she even played Like it or not!)

Hard Candy
4 Minutes
Give it to me
Miles Away
Incredible
Beat Goes on
Dance 2 Night
Spanish Lesson
Voices

Yeah, she'll do most of the tracks from Hard Candy.I like the idea of a tour based around a new album, with only a few oldies thrown in.

Me too. And even the oldies are made "new" with the arrangements so the whole show is fresh.

That is really the makings of an exciting tour, if only more pop performers would take note.

I think you should throw in

"Borderline (Pharrell Remix)"
and
"Music/The Message"

to get that dream list circulating

hmmm I predict she'll ask Pharrell and/or Timbaland to remix some of these songs. She likes to perform "fresh" versions of old songs.

ust watched the Roseland show and really enjoyed it. As a prelude to this tour Im hyped about her new band - the drummer alone was a big improvement - here's hoping for the tour she has extra percussion and a proper bass player. Candy Shop sounds like itll translate really well to a live performance - i was surprised. Also got me thinking about how she should have used backing vocalists on the "get up outta your seats" part - imagine Donna & Nikki singing that bit...wow.

I hope she never ever does the rock version of Hung Up again - it was grating - just didnt work. The Fedde Le Gran mash up with music was brilliant though - that will really work in a big stadium.

Choreography was refreshing too - Ive not seen her move like that for some time - which obviously meant she sounded pretty rubbish - but as someone said in another post, you aint going to a madonna gig for the pristine vocals.

Here’s my wish list

Candy Shop
Give it 2 Me
Express Yourself
Over & Over
Heartbeat

Open Your Heart
Miles Away
She's Not Me
Incredible
The Power Of Goodbye or Take A Bow

Dance 2 Night
Beat Goes On / Sidewalk Talk
Into The Groove
Music

True Blue (seriously)
Borderline
The Devil Wouldnt Recognise You

4 Minutes
Vogue
Deeper & Deeper
Like A Prayer ( a full on extended dance / celebratory version – not the dour karaoke fest from RIT)

Dress you up and Causing a commotion would be fine additions! nod
But I'd change Secret for Amazing, and a remixed version of Everybody as the grand finale biggrin ; that said, your set-list is damn near perfect nod

Yeah,it would be great to hear "Dress You Up" and "Causing A Commotion" again. She hasn't done those songs in awhile.

I thought about having "Everybody" as the grand finale lol It crossed my mind.It made a perfect finale for 'The Girlie Show'.But the more I listen to "Beat Goes On",the more I see it as an excellent finale song.It could become another 'Holiday' for her.

I agree with your comment about "Like A Prayer"...either do it right or not at all! I was disappointed with the flat version she performed on the Re-Invention Tour. She needs to do a powerful version that has the same energy and urgency as the album version.

"True Blue",huh? lol I think this song would work well if she did a girl-group segment with her and the backup singers.Maybe they could perform "True Blue" as part of a medley with "Cherish" and "Angel"?
