I'm just of the belief that Prince recorded everything that flowed into his brain . . . good or bad . . . with the thought that it's coming unfiltered from possibly a higher source. He did have every room in PP wired for sound to record as soon as inspiration struck!

The idea being that the spark of the idea might disappear if it was not captured immediately, like a vivid dream that 2 days later you don't remember. Prince's "job" then was to act as the filter, which sometimes he let some not great stuff pass through.

I hope that D&P and get their own releases. They are distinct and different enough to warrant being separate SDEs.

Londell just confirmed: no announcement until Celebration. Which means, considering the usual three/four months between announcement and release, that the set will arrive in early October, as has been leaked.
