Explains the seemingly long delay between the announcement of W2A and the actual release. Also mentions 'several major releases' being pushed back to 2022... could this include 'Crystal Ball'???

Thanks for the article. And people say the vinyl market is niche market. Like heck it is. The 2nd paragraph alone tells me it is not.

Hehe in more than one way but understatement of the year but also very true.

hmm, I had assumed i'd be getting the super deluxe as usual but at that price.... a blu ray i'll probably never watch and a load of extras i'll glance at once... I might just get the standard cd.

It's a pity, i'll usually pay extra for liner notes if there's something interesting being told or a good writer involved but this is just loads of replicas? Do I need a replica of a ticket when I have an actual ticket from a show I went to on that tour?? No judgement on those who are willing to pony up the price but i'll probably pass on this one.

I had to do some soul searching (and budget-checking) on this one. In the end, I realized that I'd probably watch the Blu-Ray only once or twice, but listen to the album dozens/hundreds of times. So for me, I'll be getting just the standard CD.

While Prince was alive, I only ever bought the standard CD anyway as it was about all he released. Was never a problem for me before, so it's not now either.

$100 is just too much for this release. SOTT:SDE was overpriced too, but in a way that made sense as being one of the best Prince albums ever. And even then, SOTT is my favorite album and I still didn't pick up the SDE.

I just don't understand why amazon.de ...germany...still doesn't have this ...

(btw...100 Dollar...that would be nice...in germany...JPC it is 170 Euro...that's 203 Dollar...but i know...it will go down..)
