How would these folks know what a 18/19 year old Prince sounds like? FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

Probably?
That settles it. Can someone please find the fake artist that made this so I can hear his material from the last 40 years.

Probably? I dunno what to tell you. The voice on the song sounds like Prince. Not just 18/19 year old or 19/20 year old Prince. But the vocal delivery and tone and timbre is also seen in Do Me Baby just a few years later. Coupled with the fact that most of us have been listening to this voice on a constant basis for decades makes it very easy to tell it is Prince. All that and yet I didn't bother mentioning the facts around the source of this recording. You ask how could they know. Let me turn it back to you - how could they not know this is Prince?

I'd bet money that it is Prince. I was talking 2 the folks who think it isn't him. I been rolling w Prince since 1978. Sounds like a young Prince 2 me. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

It IS Prince, it's documented. Anyone saying otherwise is an attention seeking fool. Remember that piano rehearsal some years back that all the "experts" on the Org said was a blatant fake, their ears told them, it definitely wasn't Prince's playing style, etc.? Oh, wait, until Duane revealed it was genuine. Same here. Bloody waste of time even having to bother writing this, as usual. His 'vocal' style/delivery on this reminds me a little of the 'K-Funk pretend interview' he did with his GF at the time Nadeera(?). Especially the 'just strangle yourself, get a rope..."

Kept in the vault for a reason, it makes Sister seem like a lullaby! The drum machine is very similar to in Wouldn't You Love To Love Me recorded around that time but I find the reference to "Say hello to my....(friend)" a bit odd, makes me think of Scarface although that wasn't released until 1984! Was this phrase in use in the general public before then? That could be the giveaway to anyone that thinks it could be fake. I like to think he was doing this as a 'fun' tongue in cheek song playing a character but....?!

[Edited 9/17/20 9:18am] I think the implied line is “Say hello to my dick,” keeping in line with the rhyming scheme. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

But I'm a little slow: got multiple ideas for tomatoes. Don't know if that makes me versatile with anatomical reference ideas...or just naive. Probably naive. : )
Anyhow, it's obvious to many here, so can you guys help me out?

Yeah, that line was pretty common back in those days...usually with a name added. [Edited 9/17/20 12:52pm] "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
