Yeah, on some artists' fan sites, fans can freely share bootlegs... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Or aren't even prohibited from openly recording bootlegs at live shows.

When I launch it on the app or website it always starts a song and I have to push "live"...seems odd vs. when in the car. . . Also can't find the Program Guide describing what's coming up on the channel

I believe there's another exclusive PLAYLIST coming up on THURSDAY at 3pm EST. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis

Really enjoying this and hope that it becomes permanent. I've heard some great old joints (like the Escape/Glam Slam remix) and stuff I've never heard before (both Anna Stesia and Starfish and Coffee live) and I'm enjoying the anecdotes from the associate artists. * Still stalking the channel when I can to hear this live Beautiful Strange that I keep reading about...

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (one of them) were telling the story of "Kiss" and got it half right. He suggested that Prince did not write it bit that Brownmark wrote it. When Prince heard it he just took it. SMH. But I know someone who is often astounded that the fans know more about their work that they do. One thing that bothered me was that J&T weren't deep in knowledge of some tracks (Kiss was NOT brought to Prince by Brownmark, it was the other way around and then he took it back). Also, they made it seem like they played the music on the records. They were the "live" band but those first two records were 90% Prince. Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

Jimmy said RIP Michael Bland. Did he mean John Blackwell or did I miss that one? "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

NO THEY DIDN'T! They specifically said the record was done when they came along. Speaking of the first album. Also they said Morris and Prince(r.i.p.) took 6 months to do it & Morris played the drums on every track. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."

I've been enjoy this channel like crazy with two glaring exceptions:
Marian Carey's cover of "The Beautiful Ones" is coma inducing. They both sound like they're about to drop dead any second and is about as exciting to listen to as it is watching cars rust. The vocals on this recording have the same emotional impact as a loaf of stale bread.
D'Angelo's cover of "She's Always In My Hair". Hearing his nasal voice drone completely off-time to the music makes me want to punch babies.
Remove these two pieces of audio pollution from the playlist and the programming would, pretty much, be darn-near perfect.
Just saying.... Who's the private d*ck that's a sex machine to all the chicks?
Who's the man that would risk his neck for his brother man? Who's the cat who won't cop out when there's danger all about? John Shaft ... Damn Right!

^^^^ Actually, I just heard that Nasty Girl cover bump part on Sirius radio and I am incorrect, it doesn't sound like Nicole Scherzinger. Sounds like someone else but I don't know who... "A strong spirit transcends rules." - Prince

Thanks for the tip about On Demand (though I can't find a way to download it to my phone). . . I wonder if Sheila picked all 5 hours of the songs or just the ones she introduces, cuz they just played Thieves in the Temple which she wasn't around for nor did she say anything. . . I just got to the part talking about the Musicology performance at MSG; I was there and her description was totally accurate!

Enjoying Sirius channel 30, but why are they playing the version of "Adore" that fades out before the song ends. I think The Hits compilation faded it out too.
But Why???
Once he says "Be with me darling to the end of all time" The next lines are exquisite. (you know the rest)
They're playing other extended tracks of songs and I can't get a good, clear, complete "Adore"?
When it comes on, I turn off the radio.

I listened to the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis playlist this weekend. It was touching to hear the respect, admiration, gratitude and love they clearly have for Prince, especially given their strained relationship at times.
