There's no saying it won't return at some point. But it was a fun listen. Deep cuts thrown into the top 40 stuff; could've been more balanced with the deeper stuff. But it is what it is.

This channel is needed more NOW than ever.

It was fun having it around, especially at work, but I was somewhat underwhelmed overall by all the dedicated channels. I guess because as a hardcore Prince fan I was hoping for a lot more deep cuts and/or unreleased/live stuff. Even the Stones and Zeppelin channels were playing stuff I beat into the ground yars ago. Oh well.

Sorry to see the free trial end since I also like Stern and the comedy channels but right now, in the large scheme of things, seems like a silly thing to be upset about as America burns.

Yeah, that was a deep cut, "Beginning Endlessly" from 20Ten. It's a cute little album. For me, it's a lesser track, but it certainly fits the aural aesthetic of the whole album.

It would be interesting to see the stats on how many times they played a top 40 or well known hit compared to the deeper lesser known tracks.

From what I gleaned devling into the channel, I'd put it at maybe 40% "hits", 50% "lesser played album tracks that never made radio but everyone here knows well" and 10% "shit that was what I wanted from the channel/other artist's stuff"

I think the 40% hits, 50% deeper cuts, and 10% shit (read: Mariah's Beautiul ones) is a pretty fair summation.
