Good point, IMO, it was a combination of 1) having been in control of everyone who was in Prince and PP world for decades (as in trusting them not to tell what was open and obvious to MANY as per their own 'too little-too late' "anguished" comments re his death) and the FACT that 2) Many people do not believe if they're taking 'medicine' or perscription drugs (legit or obtained elsewhere) that they are a drug addict. HELLO???!!! If you die from an overdose of drugs after ODing just a week before and your home is filled with drugs...you have a drug problem and are most probably a DRUG ADDICT. It doesn't matter how much you believe in God or how many times you've railed against drug use in the past. YOU. DIED. FROM. TAKING. DRUGS.

Below is a link to the DEA's site and some of their data on Fentanyl that indicates there are many possible sources for counterfeit pills which is probably one of the reasons that the investigation into Prince's death has taken so long.
https://www.dea.gov/docs/Counterfeit%20Prescription%20Pills.pdf
Fentanyls and the Internet The tools needed to manufacture counterfeit pills containing fentanyls are available online and are relatively inexpensive compared to other forms of drug production, contributing to its unique level of threat. Such access paves the way for non-cartel-affiliated individuals to undertake fentanyl trafficking. Fentanyls are available for purchase online from anonymous darknet marketsd and even overtly-operated websites. Industrial pill press machines are also widely available on the open Internet. An April 2016 online search of auction websites by DEA revealed a wide variety of pill presses for sale. One pill press capable of producing 5,000 pills per hour was priced at $995, and die molds for oxycodone and Xanax® pills were for sale at $115 and $130, respectively.
Outlook The availability of counterfeit prescription drugs containing fentanyls will continue to grow in the near term. The relative ease and low cost associated with obtaining the drugs and equipment needed to manufacture counterfeit pills containing fentanyls will encourage individuals, as well as large and small DTOs, to move in this direction. Additionally, non-cartel-affiliated individuals may undertake production of counterfeit pills. Fentanyls will continue to appear in counterfeit opioid medications and will likely appear in a variety of non-opiate drugs as traffickers seek to expand the market in search of higher profits. Overdoses and deaths from counterfeit drugs containing fentanyls will increase as users continue to inaccurately dose themselves with imitation medications.

To be honest with you, when I heard about the former manager's death, I thought there might be a connection. Who better to supply than a former employee wanting to get back into the boss' good graces? And who would know the guy could supply but a current employee who stayed in touch with that person? I don't believe in coincidences anymore. This rang so many bells for me.

Are you saying that the 'someone' who had the cameras removed (PRINCE) WANTED his death to look like a drug overdose rather than, say, a purposeful suicide or an exit ramp from deteriorating via AIDS?

Since PP wasn't locked down on that last day, who knows what it actually looked like inside that morning? So many people were inside the place for days ... Combining that with the withheld autopsy report ... we are just speculating. And that bothers me to no end. [Edited 2/25/18 10:40am]

. And, we can't dismiss the fact that Prince died of an "accidental" overdose. I will never believe he did that on-purpose, never. I will never believe he was a "drug addict", never. It's just how I feel.

. I'm with you. The fact that PP was not secured as a crime scene on April 21, 2016 has always been a red flag with me. The investigation was handled so poorly. Things could have been touched, removed, tampered with by the time they got their asses there to do the search warrant. It is common protocol that when there is an "unwitnessed death", the area be blocked-off and deemed a crime scene, which means NO ONE is allowed in or on the premises, aside from police and detectives. . This is just part of the reason why Prince's death is suspicious and controversial. Wait I’m completely confused: isn’t your position that he killed himself due to his pancreatic cancer diagnosis? I don’t see the connection between that and “a certain someone” (huh?) intentionally dismantling the security cameras? laurarichardson said: cloveringold85 said: It's just bizarre because with so many pills in different bottles; how could he know what he was taking? . Yea, I'm confused too. . Laura implied that Prince himself had the camera's removed, per Chazz comments/interview. "With love, honor, and respect for every living thing in the universe, separation ceases, and we all become one being, singing one song." - Prince Roger Nelson (1958-2016)

. I dunno about Chazz. The family is not really talking to him, so I'm not sure where he's getting his information from, because the police can not discuss the case to anyone. The family hasn't said anything, so who knows?

Instead of being cryptic (“a certain someone,” etc) why not just explain it in plain English so everyone can understand?

Who would of had the money as well as the acess to have the cameras removed? Who owned PP? Who paid the security guards who were sent on vacation? Who asked musicians to come and get their stuff out of Paisley Park? Just think for a minute.
