There was a thread about this a few years back, but through the passage of time it locked itself, so I'm starting a new one.

A friend just hooked me up with 20 essays that were written by Prince and posted on his Love4OneAnother website throughout 1998. Neither my friend nor I are sure if 20 essays were all he posted, or if there are more of them. I cannot begin to tell you how comforting/uplifting it is to read Prince's own words! Dude really was/is a spiritual teacher; his words are nourishment. I can almost hear him speak as I read. It's soul-stirring.

The only downside is, the essays are hard to decipher at times since P was heavy into abbrieviating words at the time -- for example, the word "energy" is spelled, "nrg" and "understand" is written once as "4stand" (Forestand?...that one still has me confused!). But it is such a treat to read his words and understand a bit better how his mind worked.

I know there are folks around here who at the idea of P being intellectual, insightful, or even (dare I say) wise, but for me, dude knew what he was talking about and was WAY ahead of his own space and time. These writings deserve to be (re)published in a single collection, on nice paper, with elegant fonts, perhaps accompanied by color photos or drawings. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Mods, can I share essay samples in this thread, or do we want to avoid copyright issues?

Links only would be ok.

No posting of any reproduced materials as that would be copyright infringement which would get the org in hot doodoo. The org would need written permission from any author to reproduce copyrighted materials.

Providing just a link would allow folks just to be able to read.

Any materials reproduced and posted with out the sources written permission will be snipped.

The org also cooperates with any source whose work is reproduced and pasted without their written permission to remove the contents.

I remember that someone posted some of them a few years back.Would love to read them again.
