It's The Mirror, with a story consisting of paragraphs comprised of no more than two sentences, with a quote from the National Enquirer.

Everyone in my family has a heart murmur. My parents died in their 80s.

No one said it killed him. Matt said in another interview that he saw Prince taking aspirian all the time claiming it would help is heart or complaining about headaches.

besides the fact that dr fink isn't a doctor and this bs is over a year old ...

WHAT IF? would it be anyone's business? would it bring him back? or change the fact and circumstances of his passing? no. no. and no.

just another useless and tasteless gossip.

I bet this thread will go downhill like all its precursors in no time ... well ... it's been one or two weeks since the last one ... guess the org needed it badly rolleyes

Dr. Fink said this it is not gossip. If you feel it is no one's then do not click on the topic. I bet you are interested in how much money he had and how awful his family members are but could careless about people dragging him threw the mud and ignoring the very idea that he may have health issues because that does not get internet clicks. You know he did have 65k in medical expenses from buying illegal drugs.

hahahaaaa ... well of course U feel the need to argue against the obvious and to tell me what to think and to do ... would be hilarious if it wasn't so predictable ...

sorry to tell ya ur bet is completely wrong ... I'm only interested in his music, the inside and out beautiful human he was and the equally beautiful soul he still is and always will be. cuz this is enlightening instead of discussing the same nonsense over and over again for years and - even more important - all he wanted us to know and see.

now that's easy:
do U KNOW it cuz U witnessed the event personally or prince himself told U? or did U just read it somewhere cuz anybody else started it?

well ... if it's the latter it's gossip wink

Mayte said he took gobs of aspirin as well as Matt Fink. You have two people saying this out of their own mouths who knew him well. Why would they make up anything and why cannot you not believe he was not the picture of heatlh.

Prince even said himself he suffered from epilispy which as far as I know has no cure. Seizures can disapper for a while and then return.

This is true, and even discussed when he was hospitalized for drinking wine with asprin, which was documented as truth in the book The Vault. Mayte was right there for all of that, however she said she just looked it over, much like we all would have in her shoes. The man worked damn hard, he was not invincible though.

Do a Goggle search and you will see it. Dr. Fink said Prince mentioned it to him once back in the early days of the band and a few people have said he took gobs of aspirin.

As I said my whole family have heart murmurs. That includes both parents. No doctor ever prescribed aspirin. That is to thin clots. Murmur is something you're born with. An irregular slight difference, that's all. Many people have them.

A long time ago doctors use to tell people with heart problems to take an aspirin to help. Doctors no longer recommend this anymore as the antecimphenim can kill your liver.

I was under the impression that most people knew this and we know people are born with Murmur as many of us have discussed health issues that he may have just been born with like epliscy or joint problems which can be hereditary.

In fact rheumatoid arthritis can be a health conditon that can cause it to happen.

It's not surprising if he did have a heart defect because some people with epilepsy have heart issue's.

What fucking proof are you babbling about? Do a Goggle search for yourself and you will see the Matt Fink interview. Who does not know Docs use to tell people to pop aspirina if they had heart problems?

IF you do not believe what Mayte and Fink said about him popping aspirin then that is your problem. I think it is beyond silly to think every person around Prince has nothing better to do then make up fake medical issues for the world's enjoyment as they can only speak on what he told them or what the saw with their own eyeballs.

I guess you do not believe Dr. S was seeing him for joint pain either despite that being a part of his practice and stating so in the search warrents.

All info is fake? Think about how ridculous a notion that is.

Yes, they do as well as migranes coming on before epilespy eposiodes. If people took two minutes to look stuff up they could stop doubting everything. There is doubt and there is plain ignorance.

Why would say that? Apparently he almost killed himself ( not just sick) from drinking wine with aspirin in 96 but he is taking them in this interview.

I ask him what he will be doing in 10 years. "Sinatra's a good model. I'd like to believe that I'm part of the cultural fibre now. When someone makes a joke about you, well . . . Only time tells. Time's my journalist, time's my critic." Mayte enters with a pill and a cup of tea. "Gotta take my vitamins," he says. "Actually, it's an aspirin. Too much talking gives me a headache."

The night before we meet he had jammed with George Clinton. They produced a 46-minute track, which, he says, they had then reduced to 22 minutes. The following night, we are promised a small scale performance in his rehearsal area, but a storm causes it to be cancelled. Instead we play basketball on the Paisley court and listen to a live track recorded at the previous week's jam. More than half an hour long, it is a funky, soulful wonder, a Marvin Gaye-style backing running under the constantly repeated refrain "The revolution will not be colourised".

As the black kid from one of the whitest states in the US who made his name playing funked-up rock in a multi-racial band, grows older, his music grows blacker.
