Rogifan, it was reported by a number of outlets (not sure if "confirmed" is the right word). For example, an LA Times article (http://www.latimes.com/na...story.html) from May 10 said: "Prince saw
a Minneapolis-area doctor the day before he died, and that doctor was at Prince’s Paisley Park compound to deliver test results on the morning the musician was found dead, according to court records obtained by the Los Angeles Times. Michael Todd Schulenberg, who specializes in family medicine, had also seen Prince earlier in the month, on April 7."

Hmm...not disputing what you're providing but I'd be curious to know what court records the LA Times received and how they got them. And assuming that story is legit we don't know why he saw the doctor or what the test records were for do we? Paisley Park is in your heart

It wasn't just the LA Times who reported that they had seen these court documents (warrants) -- other outlets did too, such the Wall Street Journal, ABC News, and many others.
-
And you're absolutelyl rightL: We don't know why he was seeing the doctor. Hence the nearly full year of speculations and theories on this site, of which mine (posted here) is one. Take it or leave it, doesn't matter to me.

(and for the record, I think it's possible that Prince ODed on fentanyl on the plane but didn't realize that fentanyl was the culprit; he, and the Moline doctors, might have assumed he ODed on whatever other opioid the counterfeit pills' appearance mimicked. There's no reason doctors would have tested him in Moline for the specific opioid in his system, unless Prince wanted that test.)

Prince sure did not act like someone going through withdrawals. He played great at every concert, was seen out and about enjoying himself right up until the night of the 20th.
That is why that does not add up. That is what the media wants us to think. Not one person who was close to Prince ever said he took drugs. I will believe them and most of all I believe Prince told us the truth. [Edited 4/8/17 20:23pm]

One thing which seems sure to me at least - but let me add I have no personal knowledge of the case - is that Prince apparently did not have a long-term primary care physician in the Chanhassen area, or that he had stopped seeing that person before recently going to see Kirk's doctor, Dr. S. No one needs to reiterate to me Prince's desire for privacy, etc., etc., but don't you think that's strange? Here his appearance started to deteriorate in 2015, and then he finds himself in 2016 looking skeletal and poor skin color but there is no PCP around? I am sorry, but none of this adds up for me. |

There are a few things that don't add up for me too... From him seeing Dr S Picking up his own prescription(if P was gravely ill he would have had someone else pick up his prescription) he was not hiding this.
He was seen out and doing fine. He enjoyed a show, was at the electric fetus, was even working the night of the 20th, on the phone with people, emailing etc. Prince was not exactly the picture of someone going through withdrawals...Or gravely ill.
If Phaedra did not work for him why did she call some dr with a shady background to see P behind his back? This bothers me as she was one of 3 people that were with P getting his masters back and does not want to admit she worked for him?? She was caught lying about when she stopped working for him...her and the Attny R.Trotter both have vanished. You would think they would be proud of that accomplishment instead they are hiding it. Phaedras linkedin has been changed to reflect this.
Also Phaedra, who has not worked for P since 2015 according her, placed a call to Cali Dr K and he sends his son with a backpack containing at least suboxone we don't know what else to treat Prince? How would she know what to tell the Cali Dr if she was not around Prince since 2015?
He played excellent and despite it was a piano and mic show he was not just sitting there the entire time...he was up, dancing and into it even knocking over his seat on purpose. At the end he did not use a cane to help him walk, he even tossed something in the air caught it and walked off the stage just fine. |

The story, if I remember it correctly, was that someone in Prince's Minnesota entourage called a person in New York, stating that Prince was in grave distress/condition, and he needed medical help as soon as possible. I have read two different versions of what happened next: 1. the NY person gave the Minnesota person the Kornfeld number to call and then 2. the NY person called a female in California (later identified as a lawyer who helped Prince regain his masters) who called Kornfeld. Now, I believe we have learned that Phaedra is NOT an attorney - am I wrong here? So that must be the other woman - I forget her name. Now why in the world didn't they tell the Minnesota caller to get Prince to a hospital ASAP and keep him there? Especially after Moline? Trying to keep the lid on what was going on killed him - I know he took the pills, but he wouldn't have if he was admitted to a hospital. JMO He was apparently in a hospital for testing and/or minor treatment on the 20th, saw Dr. S on the 7th and 20th. But nothing more. |

I also see a reference in the LA times article to his having taken the fentanyl in the last "24 hours", which supports the theory that the test occurred on April 20. (And opoids have to be out of the system for 24 hours to take suboxone, so it would make sense for him to receive the results of that test on April 21).
The LA Times article doesn't make any particular reference to when the test was taken. Which is basic reading comprehension. As far as I know, in addition to not being able to administer suboxone personally, it wasn't Schulenberg who instructed Dr Kornfield's son to come over. Whether he was cognizant of this development is another matter.
The test could have been done when P saw Dr S on April 7, or it could have been done at an out-patient clinic without Schulenberg even present (at an undisclosed time), or Schulenberg could have ordered further tests based on the blood test administered at the Moline Hospital. There's so much we don't know and yet people jump to conclusions in order to justify their narrative.
The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!
If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days... |

It's pretty basic.
You're right. The basic facts are pretty basic. The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

Just questioning one thing about all of this, but not disputing the way this is detailed to us (so anyone should answer, it's not specifically directed to 1Sasha): who has officially confirmed on record that this is the course of events re the telephone calls? I know Will Smith said he spoke to P on the night of the 20th. But all this other stuff, did it come from a "source"?
Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end |
