And, furthermore, was Prince not able to answer his own private cell phone because he was incompacitated? Also, Sheila's comment about someone answering the phone and saying that Prince was "okay" -- sounds very suspicious as well.

One a more serious note; I wonder why Prince did not use his cell phone on the night of April 20th/morning of April 21st to call for help? Just seems a bit odd that he would walk to the elevator without calling 911 first. I'm sure the authorities have his cell phone in their possession, and they know who he spoke to that evening and the days prior.

I agree he definitely had a phone. You really can't believe everything he said in interviews, a lot of it was for effect to add to the mystique of his image. I know when he was at PP he also used to Skype people in the early hours. There was that interviewer who noted he was skyping Delilah and she was moaning he'd woken her up as it was early in the U.K. So he definitely wasn't averse to technology.

He could have been in so much pain he did not know what to do or maybe he was trying to get to his phone.

In my province of Canada, we encourage patients to keep to one prescriber for their controlled substances that require a triplicate.... Most GPs will not see new patients who only want a controlled substance refill. We have a system that also tracks the medications patients fill, most pharmacies participate.

I can prescribe controlled substances, but in my current line of work, I am not the main prescriber/family doctor. I see patients in a specialist clinic, so haven't found that I have even needed a triplicate pad(which u have to lock up and treat like gold...because it is worth$$$$ on the street).

He spoke to Tamron, Van Jones, Will Smith but not older associates like Apollonia, Sheila and Andre. Hmmm maybe he hadn't heard from them in a while and maybe he couldn't face all the questions from people who knew him well?

Maybe older associates were also less likely to be 'yes men' - and P didn't want anything or anyone to deter him from whatever it was he had planned..?
