My hubby is a retired firefighter. And sometimes the patient dies at home and they do CPR on them on the way to the hospital, but they tell the family that they died in the hospital. Sometimes families get freaked out if the patient dies at home.

Are we still negating the informational death cert which clearly states the time of death was 10:07am... and that kornfeld was all like he's u responsive - then when he got switched to the chanhassen operator he wasn't breathing kornfeld said dead at this point and the operator CANCELS the ambulance and states it's a DOA.. hmm lest we forget

Yep! Precioux is right! They could have passed 12 hours before it was called by a person certified to call it.

There may have been a million things he was dying from, but we know of only one thing that killed him.

If his sister's comments are any indication of his state of mind, who is to say that he did not decide, that day, to induce death at a much earlier time than even she thought. Perhaps Tyka said what she said to passify the curious ones (the world)? For what it's worth, the (ME) cannot determine what was in his mind that day , or, if he decided to terminate his own life that evening/morning. She (ME) merely has a protocol that would not have allowed her to conclude that he intentionally took his own life. Conversely, , she's no mind reader.

So its begs the question...If you stated that you knew someone had determined that death was near, does that mean you knew what he was dying from? Furthermore, if you had that information, yet death came unexpectedly (in the form of an overdose) as opposed to what they were dyng from, would you call it suicide? Were you expecting suicide all along? After all, she did say she knew it was coming and that it was two words "he's gone"... Food for thought... If she didnt know he was an addict and thought he died of something else, an overdose, or any information transmitted as such, would have been a shock to her... It wasn't!

Precioux: Good point you bring up, because since Andrew is not a doctor, he is/was not qualified to give a time of death. And like you said, it needs to be officially documented by the medical professional/doctor/coroner.

Another thing that gets me is the fact that 911 dispatch never told Andrew to start CPR. Then, when medical responders get there, they try CPR and then say Prince was DOA and they cancel ambulance.

He was doing a lot of charitable giving so I think that is what he meant and please don't discount the damage that pain meds can do to the body. Even people who have Rx have long term health issues.

I agree with you that we have 95% of the information. The 5% I wonder about is who the DEA will end up bringing charges against fot the pills. Sometimes I think it will be a doctor but at other times I wonder if it may his inner circle e.g. Kirk Johnson since he made it a point of getting a lawyer immediately and he won't communicate with the press.
