I realized more went on in the divorce after I was able to see the docket (but not the filings). The Tribune also talked about depositions being taken. So there may be more info in the file than originally thought. Ex#2 can ask certain items be redacted but the Judge's decision intimated he was only inclined to redact identifying information, such as account numbers, social security numbers, etc. [Edited 9/14/16 11:07am] | |

Mani said they had an ambicle divorce( not that I take her word for the gospel) Do you think this has anything to do with the work product that was sealed or could it just be motions and depositions concerning abandonment, irrconceiable differences, infidelity or emotional abuse the type of stuff you hear people carrying on about in divorces usually to force a quick settlement. | |

It appears that an order was issued today in the divorce / unsealing case. Manuela, Prince's estate, and the Star Tribune were all served. I wonder what this is about? Maybe the judge is issuing the final order to unseal? | |

There was a bit of activity today. There was a Demand Notice again for all those "problem folks" to get information about all activity. I wonder how long it will take for the ST to report on the contents of the divorce. | |

The Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting on Judge Eide's decision not to permit blanket media access, but rather he will decide on whether recordings will be permitted on a case-by-case basis. | |

Can they do that? --- They claim whatever they want but if this was a fund raiser how can they prove they would have raised ex-amount of money? I think depending on how the contract was written they will only get back whatever fees they paid to rent the facilty. | |

Did they pay to rent it or did Prince donate the space? Gift in kind? There were a lot of corporate sponsors on the promotional materials. Those sponsors effectively underwrite the expenses, so the revenue loss would be in attendance. What is the capacity of PP?
That it took until now to file a claim, suggests there isn't much of a basis for the claim. Especially if Prince provided the space at no cost to the organization as a sponsor. And if that is the situation, makes the organization look even more opoortunistic. That is a large gift they are looking to get from him. Huge.
A note to those who bought tickets with a new location would not cost nearly half a million dollars. "Hold on to your souls y'all. We got a long way to go. Thank you! We love y'all!" | |

You are correct. If he donated the space then they really do not have a valid claim. Kind of messed up that they are going after his estate when he was trying to help them and certainly did not die just to see their plans ruined. | |

---- Well that is good because he can decide to block the media every time their is a hearing. All the legal nonsense from the Star Tribune for no reason. | |

Morningsong... Isaidlifeisjustagame
In the Affidavit of McMillan is he saying that the heirs still aren't all onboard with Bremer's decisions but he and Koppleman are pushing them to agree?? Maybe I am understanding it wrong. [Edited 9/15/16 16:43pm] | |

It appears this may be a moot point because LM prepared this Affidavit August 16, 2016, and it related to turning PP into a museum and some were not on board. Apparently, they were to meet the same day for an informational meeting with heirs and counsel. The factions must have finally agreed to the PP Museum proposal.

I'm tired. I couldn't figure out who PP Management LLC was. Like who the heck is this new group trying to get a piece of the Prince pie. Had a slap the forehead moment there. Yep, it's getting to me. | |
