He did age quite a bit, but not as much as most people. He also certainly had some work done and that helped as well.

Personally, I think I look my age. It's everyone else that doesn't. I know I definitely feel my age at times!

Agreed! But, as anyone with a passport knows, there ain't any photoshop or retouching. Which makes this a really good case for P just being DAMN FINE at 57! I wish I had his mad skillz at make-up!

I'm from Mn. and when I got my passport I provided my own photo (and it was less expensive). It's not like a drivers license photo where they take your pic.

IMO, Prince did look his age. Especially when he presented that award to The Weekend at the AMA in November of 2015. Also when he was on Arsenio Hall in that burgundy outfit. He was still handsome though.

The ladies kept him young

What work and why are you certain? Just because was a celebrity? I ask because didn't he sing about not having work done (perhaps a shot at Michael Jackson)?

It's very obvious that he had filler done now and then (probably restylane) - that is not a celebrity procedure, it's extremely common and not considered plastic surgery (to comment on your lyric mention).

Right? I was too. But she said he smelled delicious. I still have never tried 3121! From what I've read about it, it does seem like it wouldn't suit me but I guess you never know. Thanks for sharing those tidbits, I love hearing details like that. Sounds like P and PP smelled absolutely divine. Of course!

I don't look my age either. My secret, mostly stay away from women. For the most part Prince kept women at arm's length. Basically he didn't let them tell him what to do. Worked for him!

He aged alright. I recall clearly seeing signs of it as I was 5 feet away from him during the 1999 gigs at Studio 54 in MGM Vegas. I coudl see the crows feet around the big shades he was wearing. I think that was the first time I realized he stopped doing splits onstage as well.

He just aged far better than most

So awkward. One time I was at dinner with my parents and the waitress thought my Dad was the Father of both of us He doesn't even look old, but I think the fact that my Mom looks so young she was thrown off Haha!

Yes, this was the first time that I really noticed that he looked more his age....but also thought he didn't look healthy either.

Like I'd said earlier though...most people do start showing their age in their face in their 50's.
