Agreed! But, as anyone with a passport knows, there ain't any photoshop or retouching. Which makes this a really good case for P just being DAMN FINE at 57! I wish I had his mad skillz at make-up!

You do know this wasn't his actual passport photo? He tweeted saying it was just for laughs.

There are a lot of people who don't visibly age much in their 30s 40s

Prince was one, but you could see that he was aging in the last 10 yrs

Prince was up at night a lot. For humans night time aft midnight is usually our sleep time.
Late night shows and up in the studio can have advers affects on you health.

There are many periods where you could see his age, when he didn't have his 'face' on

yeahthat Quoted for emphasis.

The idea that Prince never aged is a myth.

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I agree with whoever said he started to age the last 10 years or so. Many people do once they hit early to mid 50's...nowadays, 30's and even 40's you can get away with looking 10-15 yrs younger than you are if you take care of yourself--which i do, and i've been fortunate as well to not look like i'm in my 40's and yes genes are a factor as well.

Is that a little gray above his ear? I also saw a picture where he had dyed his hair medium brown, I think from 2010...it was not a good look for him and aged him. Yes, puffy face in this picture or perhaps some weight gain. He seemed to be aging very gracefully and didn't appear to be fighting it.

I'll be 51 this year, have a son who will be turning 31 this year, and I get told all the time that I do not look old enough to have a son that old. Actually, today, I showed some women I was training today my picture of the day after the Atlanta concerts, while I was working, and they said, "You do know you look like you're around 20 in this picture?" I had just told them I was 50.

I don't think there's any real secret behind why he looked so good. Yeah, he obviously dyed his hair and wore a lot of makeup but aside from that, he was a genuinely good looking guy. I met him 5 years ago and spoke to him face to face (in truth, the entire "conversation" lasted about 20 seconds and even though I wasn't a huge fan back then, I was still starstruck as hell and so nervous I could hardly speak) but seeing him up close, it was impossible to pick out a flaw. People who are that beautiful just get better with age.

In that photo, his cheeks look like my daughter's did, when she started taking steroids (prednisone, used to fight immune-system disorders). For some reason, you initially get puffiness in your checks which later goes down.
rednisone also suppresses your immune system, and we know that it was stated Prince was on some sort of drug that did the same thing.

Prince could have been on one of the many steroid-related arthritis drugs; in my daughter's case, she takes prednisone as part of her anti-rejection regimen.

well that's 3121 for you! All life is a trampoline - we all jump at the same speed - you have to consider the point at which one grows into a sense of self reflection and outward projection: At what point am I learning or teaching? Everybody is naturally the same age, it is the body's own feedback loops which determines the age of body and mind.

In a way, the 2014 Robocop remake wasn't a complete waste of time! Although it feels like your blood has been replaced by expanded polystyrene

Looking at this picture made me think about if his son had lived, this is what P might've looked like as grandpa in the next few years.

Imagine a kindergartener taking this guy to "Show & Tell"?

"Daddy? Mrs. McManus says I'm not allowed to bring Grandpa to school anymore cuz the other kids' mommies, grandmas, great grandmas, aunties, cousins and babysitters take up too much room in the hallways."

I'm not black though, and apparently looked 20 when I'm 50. eek Maybe I have a black ancestor?? (which is probably close to the truth for all of us!) biggrin So I'll accept that statement and say, "it's maybe in my genes somewhere therefore, black does not crack!" *blush*

And I have 3 kids. So that rules out that theory. And trust me when I say my daughter is giving me wrinkles and gray hair - hmm, okay, so maybe that theory is back in. My sons were easy. My 12 year old daughter is going to be the end of me.
