Do you have an opinion on why Prince never aged?

it seems like he looked just as youthful and kept his good skin through all the years. Really amazing. I rarely see anything like this.

I have some ideas but want to ask you all what you think the reason is he hardly aged if at all.

Oh yes. It's the same anti-aging secret my family has used for generations: Prayer.

Prince is very connected to Source Spirit - Creator God, and when you continually interface with an immortal, timeless, and ageless God, it influences the way you age. He prayed a lot, and spent lots of time with God.

Sounds crazy, but I'm 47, and just two weeks ago, someone who didn't know me at my church referred to me as the 'girl in the youth group who is helping out'. They all jaw dropped when they realized that I was older than many of them. In fact, the woman who mistook me for a girl of barely 20, said, "By talking to you, I can tell that you are wise and mature, but your eyes are so young".

Seek God's face, and your biology will not age at the same rate, or in the same way. Your spirit is ageless anyway, so when you move in spirit, it really impacts your body. That's why I believe Prince's energy was never that of an aged man, as he remained close to God throughout his life.

Moses died at 120, the Bible says his eyes weren't dim, and he wasn't feeble. He was like a young man when he left.

Just my opinion.

I remember reading a few years ago that he saw a dermatologist regularly. He wore makeup all the time...all his professional photos were probably photoshopped. Prince was a human man, near 60 years old. He had wrinkles, sagging skin and gray, thinning hair. I think if we ever saw him without all the makeup and his hair being done, he'd look good for being in his late 50s, but clearly in his 50s nonetheless.

Definately his clean living would have had a lot do do with it.

beyond that..

Ive often thought what it must feel like on an energetic level to be standing in front of 10,000 people who are all beaming their LOVE UPON YOU...

Imagine the kind of VIBES that would have been going through him and coming out of him...

In the end he was became some kind of conduit for LOVE..

Are you familiar with the work of Dr.Masuro EMoto ?

Genes, makeup, healthy food, photoshop, being secure in his faith and hope for the future.

And he did eventually.

He was a very beautiful person on the inside as well as outside and that alone makes a person look better. So even when he did age,our Princey was beautiful.

There are a lot of people who don't visibly age much in their 30s 40s

Prince was one, but you could see that he was aging in the last 10 yrs

Prince was up at night a lot. For humans night time aft midnight is usually our sleep time.
Late night shows and up in the studio can have advers affects on you health.

There are many periods where you could see his age, when he didn't have his 'face' on

At one point his age started showing, some lines started to appear in his face, but I'm really glad he didn't do anything to cover it up besides resorting to geniusly applied make-up lol

No matter what age, he has always been gorgeous and at 57 he was still the sexiest man on earth. love

This is so stupid.

Clearly, he did age. Otherwise, his body wouldn't have fallen apart to the point that he needed painkillers.

Yes, he looked good – but that was as much about make-up, hair color, good lighting and Photoshop as anything.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

That's ridiculous. Number one, he DID age. He looked it. Makeup, lighting, and Photoshop helped. Number two, why would a prayer for vanity be answered? It's like praying to be greedy. "OH LAWD, PLEASE KEEP ME LOOKING GOOD FOR THESE TRIFLIN' ASS FEMALES" It makes no sense at all to bring spirituality into something so obviously non-spiritual.

This ^^^^^^^ Though they were few and far between, there were pics of him without make-up nor photoshop enhancements. He was mortal and aging like we all do.

From what I've seen, I don't think people show their age as much nowadays, but things will start to change noticeably somewhere in your 50's for everyone.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

Prince: 'I'm a musician. And I am music'

Dorian Lynskey

Asked, for example, why he doesn’t appear to have aged, Prince embarks on a baroque explanation that takes in an illustration of celestial mechanics involving a candle (the sun) and a sugarcube (the Earth); DNA research; his late father’s Alzheimer’s disease; the reason he doesn’t celebrate his birthday (“If you look in the Bible there’s no birthdays”); the importance of study; God’s concept of time; and the Purple Rain tour. “Time is a mind construct,” he finally concludes, setting his candle and sugarcube aside. “It’s not real.”

No extensive drug use or alchol use in his 20's and 30s is a huge reason. Plus he ate very healthy and was physically fit with his constant touring. Also agree with others that his spirituality along with prayer plus his mindset of not acknowledging age helped too! You are what you think about!

Thats what you look like when you're livin the good life!
