Alright, Purple Rain is out the way. I didn't need to see it but I acknowledge it probably wasn't feasible not to cover that song during this show.

I didn't like Jennifer's rendition of Purple Rain. She oversings. I don't think I'll be happy with any of the performances although Erykah Badu did a good job with The Ballad of Dorothy Parker. No one can do Prince's songs like he could. I'd rather see clips of Prince performing than seeing others do his songs.

To me what hurts is seeing his photos come up huge. His different looks, his face. It makes you realize just how much more unique he was than most everyone at the show.

There's a reason she's doing weight watcher commercials. If she had the talent to do anything other than scream, then she'd be doing that instead.
