You guys do know that his friends and associates changed with the weather right?Anyway once a celeb is booked for these shows and their role on it they dont change it.Someone asked her to do something for prince.I hope LL gives a prayer like he did for whitney.My daughter said 'Mum she's going to do the floor crawl to 'get off'.NOOOOOO God help us all if she does.Twitter would run her out of showbiz

That fact that so many people don't care about Madonna as the choice speaks volumes that there were probably BETTER choices out there 2 chose from.

At the end of the day, it's just a 2 hour TV show.

In other words, much 2 do about nothing.

In a recent interview,didn't Sheila say that she is working on "getting all the bands together" for some kind of tribute....and we already know that the Revolution are preparing to do some shows.....relax,folks!

hell when BET 'honored' Prince they didn't even mention the passing of Lena Horn

it's funny seeing people complain that Madonna is "not a musician"....lol...Prince collaborated with many artists who weren't musicians.Look at all the female artists he worked with who can't play an instrument.He invited Madonna to Paisley Park last year.I don't think he cared that she's not a "musician".He liked and respected her anyway.

Madonna is Prince's only peer in the industry right now. NO, she is absolutely not as talented as he was, not even close, but she is a FAR more commercially successful performer.

So just wait and see what happens. We might be blown away on Sunday.

because madonna can play a bit of guitar etc doesn't qualify her to pull off a prince tribute... she certainly doesn't have the vocal chops either

to me... if it's going to be one person... the only one worthy is stevie wonder... someone prince admired greatly as a musician... he's a level that prince deserves

if they opened it up to be a multiple musician thing there are a whole bunch of people i can think of

what if she played a song that was simple a ballad on guitar as a tribute to Prince? I mean what are we expecting for a tribute. Madonna at 57 can handle and stick with the dancers in her group, Prince was a dancer too. Stevie couldn't do movements and such.
