I read somewhere that Prince was fully dressed when found unconscious, so it would seem he didn't go to sleep. [Edited 5/13/16 15:23pm]

There's way too many unanswered questions, theories already out there now to get any real closure. Expecting updates from the same clowns who leaked the story in the first place is pointless, don't expect much from the keystone cops too, they have to keep the story going for a while, another week another claim. More drama and BS 'Somewhere in Uptown'

I know what you mean. I was hoping for some closure either this week or next but from the looks of it, thats not gonna happen any time soon. Just tired of the speculation, BS, drama and all around shittiness of this current time. How beautiful do the words have 2 be

According to several sites it was reported last week that Prince had percocet in his system.
The same report said that his red blood count was dangerously low.
My best friend is a pathologist and said that it sounds like Prince had myelodysplasia or Leukemia.

My best friend is a pathologist and said that it sounds like Prince had myelodysplasia or Leukemia. Another possibility is sepsis; apparently he had a hip replacement towards the end of 2009 and didn't tour again until 2001. Sometimes hip replacements don't always yield the expected results and there's lingering pain. Yet pain after a prosthetic implant is also correlated with infections. Most doctors, according to studies, fail to recognize the symptoms of sepsis until it's too late. Reduced red blood cell counts, fatigue, lack of appetite, vomiting and lowered body temperature are all indicators that it's too late. And sometimes the infection, which may have been laying dormant, will suddenly blossom and takeover the host/human and within 24 hours that person's organs just give up. Hopefully we will have answers soon.

Rolling Stone and Billboard are pushing a lot of B$ stories too, interviewing everyone under the sun coming out of the woodwork. They used be pretty good but now are reduced to garbage sensationalism in today's 'Reality' induced entertainment world.

From what ive gathered he did not have hip replacement(s) as he should have but rather some sort of corrective surgery instead "Almost all art is trying to become an anaesthetic and at the same time a healing session drawing up the magical electrics.”

If Rolling Stone didn't try to present what seems to me like a balanced write up of his final days, then they would be negligent as a rock and roll magazine. . If they didnt at least attempt to speak to his collaborators - and they almost instantly produced the most interesting piece ever written about the early NPG years - then again, we would now be asking... 'don't RS care about Prince'? What kinda iconic rock journalism magazine doesn't at least try to be incisive and talk to folk? . Honestly, we need to only call BS where we see BS. Not just everywhere we read something we don't like, although precisely what you have against these articles remains a mystery.

Rolling Stone is about as Rock'N'Roll as CNN right now. . There not interested in what happened just recycling 'news' from other sources and pushing the drug memes. Quoting some rumours that Duane may have mentioned and is no longer around to find the truth, no real evidence... . It's journalism alright, yellow journalism..

Recycling stories about his death? C'mon, you're going to complain no matter what they do. If they didn't 'recycle', which is what 99.% of all reported news does, then I guess you are asking that Rolling Stone should have done their own 'digging' into Prince's death, and reported their findings? Or ignored the event all together, because you think it should all be about the music??? . Make yo mind up. . And which parts of the 90's expose on the NPG did you know about beforehand? How does it rank as a Prince article full stop, never mind one hastily put together about a week after his death?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
As i said Rolling Stone used be pretty good, when you actually had to 'shock horror' purchase a Music Mag, and it was never a 'News' mag back then. . Go back and read the 1983 and Neal Karlen interviews where rock critics actually had to go and interview stars instead of copying and pasting 'News' articles. . What expose, just a few quotes again, they're all conflicting stories, just capitailzing on speculation... . If his associates respected his privacy when he was around, then that's all forgotten now for some chump change? old friends indeed...

Apparently, quite a few die because doctors fail to recognize the signs of sepsis. Scary! Are people/friends being paid to discuss Prince? I know TMZ gives out cash to get scoops but does RS or BB?

Your theory makes a lot of sense and if that's the case - that's real messed up. Surprise, surprise.

Simply put, there are sonme on here who refuse to beleive that yes, maybe Prince did have an addictin to percs,, denying the faitrly ovious paradignm shift in hos apperance over last several years, that if the estate is in a mess, it is ultimately hos fault for not leaving a will and further, yes, skipper could have kniocked up a woman in KS and his sonly heir could be a federal inmate...Its not strange until someone disproves their claims..Fact is here there is smoke ther eis fire..MInd you , doenst change who he is , only make more human; shit happens.there are folks here who seem to think that Prince is different than anyyone one else eho has gotten hooked on pills..Fuck, many of my military firiends who i served with, highly educated, smart,, well read etc, etc, have suffered an injury and subsequently gotten hooked on pain medicaton to the poiunt were it cost them their life at worst,,
