According to several sites it was reported last week that Prince had percocet in his system.

The same report said that his red blood count was dangerously low.

My best friend is a pathologist and said that it sounds like Prince had myelodysplasia or Leukemia.

Another possibility is sepsis; apparently he had a hip replacement towards the end of 2009 and didn't tour again until 2001. Sometimes hip replacements don't always yield the expected results and there's lingering pain. Yet pain after a prosthetic implant is also correlated with infections. Most doctors, according to studies, fail to recognize the symptoms of sepsis until it's too late. Reduced red blood cell counts, fatigue, lack of appetite, vomiting and lowered body temperature are all indicators that it's too late. And sometimes the infection, which may have been laying dormant, will suddenly blossom and takeover the host/human and within 24 hours that person's organs just give up. Hopefully we will have answers soon.

That's something else we discussed and is a possiblity especially with the flight incident.

thats scary, the #transformed thing on twitter he had,

Some people with MDS go on to develop acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), which is cancer of the white blood cells. This is known as "transformation". this is all so sad

That's exactly what he said !

He said it can happen real quick and doctors who wasn't familiar with his case wouldn't know.

makes sense as the dr said he was coming to drop off and discuss test results....There arent really tests results for addicton perr se...either youo are doing them or you are not..However, if ther ewas an underlying issue , which it is becoming apparent it is then totally differnt story..Further HNR phase 2 are tracks that for the most part were recorded on 2012/2013, by himself, then all of sudden he is letting josh handle prodcution duties and also the billvoard cover start of 2013, stated something BIG was coming and that never materilazed per se.,, i am wondering if the issue started to come about mid 2013, 2014

Symptoms of Richter’s

Most people who develop Richter’s syndrome will have one or more of the following symptoms

  • Sudden swelling of their lymph nodes
  • Fever which isn’t caused by an infection
  • Night sweats
  • Weight loss
  • Sickness or abdominal pain if your spleen is enlarged

These symptoms usually develop quite rapidly and you can become ill quite suddenly.

i dont want to read about this anymore sad

I just sucked it up and read about this. apparently, about one third of mds patients "transform" and develop full blown aml...the px for aml can be as short as a few weeks. also, not to harp on the jw aspect, but one of the mainstay treatments involves transfusions, something that might not hsve been acceptable to prince.

right. and no one lands a plane because of flu, but they might if he was unconscious due to a complication from an underlying medical condition.

Yes, Tribune said it was her, Kirk & the doc in PP. This thing about the 'Transformation' tweet, it was a fans tweet he retweeted over 2 retweets. The 'Transformation' tweet was the 2nd part of the fans tweet. Someone must have a sreen shot. I know i aint the only one who saw it. P used 2 retweet like that on a reg, now peep are not realizing it's not actually his tweet/words.

I am so sick and tired of all the rumors and guesses of how Prince died, and I could scream if I hear or read the word Percocet once more! I pray that the autopsy come out soon, and I hope that it reveals the truth of just what happened so that this will all end.

After Prince's memorial service April 23 at Paisley Park, Johnson left for a previously scheduled vacation. He has since returned to the Twin Cities, but has not been in the building since Bremer Trust took over supervision of Prince's estate late last month at the request of his siblings.

I actually saw a screenshot of those retweets..Just because they werent his words doesnt mean he didnt appropriate them because they sadly fit his situation. How sad if this is true...that he used another's words and feelings of a happy sitch to cryptically describe his own tragic one

As someone who is a long term Prince and Elvis fan I can tell those who just want the speculation to end that it probably won't. There are still people out there that think Elvis faked his death...there will be fans who will not believe the autopsy report no matter what it says and none fans who will put every piece of info in the most negative light possible. All you can do as a fan is celebrate the wonderful musical legacy he has left us and do your best to keep the flame alive. Apologies in advance I posted this from my phone without my glasses. Peace and lovesexy.

If you followed Prince on Twitter then you would know that the tweet #iamtransformed was actually a tweet from a fan after seeing him in concert.

Prince would read tweets sent to you and would put them on his own wall - sometimes he'd include the original person's name, other times he wouldn't!

people are reading WAY to much into his posts!!

I read the original tweet to Prince - that tweet was NOT about or referring to his health!

YES!!!!! You are 100% correct! It was one part of a Twitter conversation, it was about how that person felt after seeing him in concert, it had NOTHING to do with his health! I was on Twitter at the exact moment that tweet appeared so I saw the original tweet from a fan & he later posted it on his wall. These posts implying it's about a blood transfusion are beyond ridiculous!

Also, FYI the last post that shows up on his Twitter wall WASN'T his last post either! There was a lot of banter going on back and forth after that post which he deleted! Not all of the posts on his wall will make sense unless you were actively on Twitter when he was posting & in on the joke!

Exactly. Lotta peep kno how he tweeted, how he'd go on little tweeting runs & would tweet & delete quick time.

Thing is, that 'transformed' tweet & the "wait a few days b4 u pray" quote are being run with all over the place, not jst here. I can see it's gonna be referred 2 waaay in2 the future, out of context. sigh Won't be the first time.

Regardless of the Tweets and how good he looked if his red blood count was dangerously low as reported, this was a sick man.

If you read the literature on the subject you will find out how quick it acts.

As for the staff "lawyering up" I believe they found prescriptions that were there and not under Prince's name and they are going to charge someone with prescription fraud and maybe a doctor with manslaughter for prescribing them.
